I think you're technically correct. Toy Story Hotel still gives Happy Entry to Disneyland. The catch is that the Vacation Package (at least the English version) makes you do Disneyland first and then DisneySea the next day. And you don't get Happy Entry on your check-in day.
This is a good point to bring up. Toy Story Hotel does have Happy Entry. But not if you're staying there on a one night vacation package, which is what I did. It made us do day one at TDL and day two at TDS. Happy Entry is not available on the day of check in which is why I was unable to use it.
