Do you feel the crush washer collapse when retightening the drain plug? I just change the oild for the first time in my 2015 Foreman. I was going by feel and can't imagine that I was near the 18ftlbs and all of a sudden I felt a bit of give and then it was tight again. I'm hoping I was just feeling the crush washer and not stripped threads
Greg Wright I have been changing this for years now, Personally, I have never felt the crush washer collapse when re-tightening, I have been fortunate as I go by feel when doing this.
@@roadwarrior8560 Its been a year and a half, and I've never seen any drips from plug so I think I am good. I bought one of those oil extraction pumps and was able to suck out just about every drop of oil, so I plan to do my oil changes that way.

I have never changed or for that matter seen a Rubicon 500… only advice I can give is to check the manual… sorry

I bet your Canadian!
Is this the same for a 2008 honda foreman 4x4
I haven’t seen a 2008 so I’m not sure if there were any changes made.
Should be the same design all the way to 11 foreman
