    Brick or treat is cool. I did oogie boogie bash one time and it’s over rated you’re basically paying $110-150 per 10 hrs max at California adventure where you can dress up and get candy and see villains throughout the park and the parade. Our family did The sea world trick or treat is also good and they give you good quality candy better than Disneyland.

    • @SoCalDisneyDad
      @SoCalDisneyDad  Год назад

      I think Disneyland’s candy is better than SeaWorld. It’s top tier brands like M&Ms and Snickers. SeaWorld hands out no name Mexican candies and occasionally Butterfinger (I do like Butterfinger).
      LEGOLAND is definitely the best bang for your buck. They only charge $20/person to attend the event as an annual passholder and free for the highest tier pass, where Disney charges you $140/person regardless of your pass level.

    Is the Brick or Treat included with a regular park ticket?

    • @SoCalDisneyDad
      @SoCalDisneyDad  Год назад +1

      If you have a ticket for a Brick or Treat day, then yes, it’s included and there are no additional fees. But those tickets are more expensive than normal non-Brick or Treat days.
      And anyone with an annual pass needs to purchase an extra brick or treat add on ticket as they aren’t included with any passes except the Elite Pass.

      @@SoCalDisneyDad We booked our vacation and pre-paid for legoland tickets 6 months ago before they advertised for Brick or Treat. How would I know if the Brick or Treat event is included? We are going to the park on one of the Brick or Treat days.

      @@chauntellejanzer7609 You are good then. They know what days brick or treat are when they set the ticket prices for those days.

    Do you know if the buy an adult ticket and child goes in free offer works for brick or treat? I was gonna buy the offer ticket but it doesn’t say that it includes brick or treat, however, it also doesn’t say it doesn’t include it. We’re planning on going on 10/8 so in 2 days. It let’s me select that day for the offer so I don’t see why it wouldn’t include it. Sorry for the long question 😅

    • @SoCalDisneyDad
      @SoCalDisneyDad  Год назад

      No, free tickets will not work for brick or treat. Even annual passholders have to pay extra to attend brick or treat.

    • @SoCalDisneyDad
      @SoCalDisneyDad  Год назад +1

      They do award some toys for performing tasks at most any special activity/event/weekend. But it’s usually a pop-button.

    • @SoCalDisneyDad
      @SoCalDisneyDad  Год назад

      Either or. If rides are more a priority, then legoland. But if you like zoos/aquariums, then you’ll like SeaWorld.
      SeaWorld has 6 rides (all small) that they’ll be able to do, if you do decide SeaWorld.

  • @carmenjohnson8763
    @carmenjohnson8763 Год назад

    What about the rides? Are the rides open?

    • @SoCalDisneyDad
      @SoCalDisneyDad  Год назад

      Yes! All the rides are open as usual. We just went for the event activities and that took about 3-4 hours in total to do. We didn't arrive until around 2 PM though, and the park opens at 10 AM, most Brick or Treat events start at 3 PM. So that gives you 5 hours to ride rides, but the rides are still open the whole time, they don't close at 3 PM or anything.

      Brick or Treat is a special event that requires a higher admission fee to enter. Even annual passholders have to pay extra for it. So Brick or Treat is not included in Kids Free October
