@@GadgetInspector I'm not sure about the DJI Pocket yet. I like the big gimbal because I can mount a good microphone on it, use an extension handle and swap out batteries. The little DJI has its place, but for now I can spend my money better on other gear, like lenses for my alpha cameras.
It looks very well made. Is it compatible with Filmic Pro? And how does the video look when your using a smart phone such as the iPhone X, which has EIS, along with this gimbal. Does either device's EIS conflict with the other's? Very in depth review, well done as always.
Excellent demonstration, easily understood the various taps on the button now, I won't even look at the instruction booklet now😉 . My SPG is the same as yours but I didn't get an adapted for the sport cams I came with two grey EVA foam spaces with which to fit it.
I’ve got a feiyu tech WG wearable gimbal for GoPro hero 3/4 and it’s great. Pretty impressed with its build quality and it’s affordable compared to some gimbals
I bought the FeuyuTech G4 specifically for my GoPro Hero 5 Black. However, I will be returning it for this unit. Reason? Dual compatibility with my iPhone 7 Plus and action camera. Plus...since the Hero 5 Nlack is better with an external microphone..there’s even an adapter I can use on the SPG. I wish I would have paid more attention to your review of the SPG. ...I would have not bought the standard G4 cause the speakers of the Hero 5 Black do pick up the gimbal noise and it does sound Blare Witch freaky!!!
Yeah this is a really good one. All aluminum too. I also have a Zhiyun Smooth Q and this one is better in terms of build and stability. The one thing the Q has over this one is motion time lapse. And you’re right, being able to use both your phone and action cam is definitely a plus.
Gadget Inspector yes! I did see the motion on the zhiyun but what appeals me is with the SPG is the ability to attach extension polls when I’m walking around historical places, much like using a drone when you can’t fly a drone in a national historical site.

MMT Pros I like this one because the build quality is solid. The Zhiyuns are good but mostly plastic.

Glad it helped John; it really is a good quality gimbal. I mostly used it with my iPhone and as you can see the footage comes out really smooth.
Did the tripod come with it or did it cost more
It came with the one I got. Some vendors/sellers don't include it though.
what do you think about vimble 2?
I haven't had a chance to test that one. I did test the Zhiyuntech Smooth Q and it's pretty good.
