They had 2 speed planetary steering and two speed transmissions that have you 4 speeds total in each direction
You took the words right out of my mouth, it was a great system that gave you a lot more power when you had a turn in your cut. Shift the inside track into low and the outside track into high.
IH was ahead of their time having planetary final drives unlike CAT used a bull gear and pinion gear on their older machines.
