Gunpla is how I manage My ADHD. It lets my mind wander while also requiring hyperfocus and attention and displaying models at different stages of completion gives me dat "I have another activity I can do when the task at hand is boring/overwhelming" feel that can make or break a work session.
This is talent beyond anything I have seen when it comes to customizing Gunpla, Wing Zero has always been my favorite Gundam since I was a kid and seeing the end result here blew me away.
When I was in my early teens I would steal quarters from my brothers room and then go beg my mom to take me to toys r us to get a toy with the "money I saved" lol. One day when I was there I noticed a small box covered in letters I couldn't understand. When I took it off the shelf I realized it was some kind of toy from my new favorite show I had been watching on cartoon network, Gundam Wing. It was also my favorite gundam in the show, The Tallgeese. I freaked and told my mom that's what I wanted. When I brought it home opened it I realized what it actually was, a model. I loved models. I would sit with my dad and we would do rockets, airplanes, cars...whatever I could get my hands on. For an entire summer all I did was run back and forth to toys r us and buy basically every gundam or mobile suit from the series until I robbed my older brother blind lol. Fast forward to now, my mother was cleaning out her basement and found ALL of my gundams. I showed them to my kids who were as starstruck as I was almost 20 years ago. For Christmas this year I asked for a new gunpla and a basic tool set. I don't think I could ever pull off anything like this, but nonetheless I am looking forward to that feeling again from when I was a kid, in the best summer of my life. Great vid, new sub!

It reminds me of Gundam Astray Red Frame It was his first video...... 11 months ago he started his journey on RUclips. Now he is in a tight spot. His talent isn't getting recognition. He tries hard. But for some reason he isn't getting recognition.
What are you talking about. He gets a fuck ton of recognition. People even here in America and gundam groups know who he is and buy his paints. They are expensive too. He is more than making it as a youtube creator and gunpla builder.
I was going to buy the Evangelion RG sets. However, after watching this guy, I've officially decided that I'll never going to buy a gunpla set ever in my life. I get my gunpla satisfaction from here whenever I need it. This is so good, and so much better than I'll ever be able to do. Don't get me wrong, I have my own craft. People like you remind me to stay focus on my own stuff and be extraordinary at it. Thanks so much.

Customizing is the most fun you can have in this hobby. I don’t recommend PG because so few “work” together, but if you have the money.. MG is where it’s at. RG is too small, and hg is not enough of a challenge.
Wing Zero is my all-time favourite gundam, hands down. You sure did it justice! What a great build, with this colour palette, I'd say, Wing Zero "Fallen Angel" Looking forward to you getting even better next year 😉
Really happy to see you made it this far. I have seen all your build videos, from oldest till today you always gave it your all and tried new things. You are somewhat of an inspiration to me, even though you never adress anyone specific I always feel like you talking to me, telling me not to give up. It has been a rough year but it is slowly getting better, let us hope 2021 will be better and keep on making these videos. Believe me they are helping more than you think.

I love how the red, black and white is an homage to the Barabtos, as the Barbatos is a gundam based of a demon, the Wing Zero is that of an angel. It's almost poetic.

I have a small handful of RG, MG and HG kits completed, but OMG I didn't know this much customization was possible! This alternate color scheme for Wing Zero is absolutely amazing! I look forward to watching more of your videos. Keep up the good work, man.
Buy a couple HG and get to work yourself! Make “goop” (melt small sprue PCs In tamiya extra thin cement. It’s much easier to use than putty and can cover any mistake. I started customizing with MG because HG aren’t enough of a challenge, but that can be pricey. Modifying your kits is the most fun you can have in this hobby.

Okay, so I've never built a Gundam model kit in my life, but I did several military airplane models as a kid and they came out pretty hood for my age at the time. I also had a series version action figure of Zero Wing Gundam. And I may or may not have just bought a few MG sets to give me something to do to battle my depression, anxiety, and PTSD. So now I'm going to watch a boat load of your content and hope some experienced models are willing to give me some advice. Also willing to make videos about my experience and progress if people want to watch a noob take on a few MG and MG Ver. Ka kits.

Nothing is better than finding the perfect set of nippers for removing flashing. Find a good enough set and it barely needs sanding to smooth the seams and remove the injection marks. That's quite a nice quality Gunpla model even before customization. Panel fit is pretty good, details are not bad at all, and the joints seem to work out. Of course, the best thing about Gunpla is that there is really no limit to how much you can customize them.
Wow your subs have grown considerably.. i remember watching your vid for the first time in April 2020 i think, i was just about to start going into gunplas, u had like 30k at that time.. now you're on the road to 200k subs and since then, I have build 7 gunplas so far.. hoping u be more successful in 2021

Yeah! I'm right up there with you, brother! This shit looks like the amount of effort to put in for a REAL Gundam, not just a model! Hahaha I got sick and tired just LOOKING at the amount of tedium it takes!
I built all of these over the course of a year and then made them battle and destroyed them in a day. I lit them on fire covered them in used oil for authentic battle damage. Sooo satisfying. That’s the type of artist I am though, I like to make amazing things and then destroy it for the experience.

3V micro led. They’re all over Amazon for cheap. They’re 1/6 the size of the head of a match and you want the 3v not the 5v. You will need a buck converter to run the 5v and it’s far too large to stuff into an mg. I’m ag-13 cells they run one LED for about 45min. 4cells and 3 led(like in the video) will end the battery in about an hour. With a little more electronics skill you can use a 1s lipo from a small drone. The one in my mg wing zero custom powers 16 led for hours. Hope this helps

I just got into Gunpla models a couple months ago and absolutely love putting them together now I’m starting to want to customize them more. I don’t think I could be this creative with it though. That looks friggin’ awesome and is totally out of my league for what I had in mind on doing.

Yeah! I'm right up there with you, brother! This shit looks like the amount of effort to put in for a REAL Gundam, not just a model! Hahaha I got sick and tired just LOOKING at the amount of tedium it takes!
I built all of these over the course of a year and then made them battle and destroyed them in a day. I lit them on fire covered them in used oil for authentic battle damage. Sooo satisfying. That’s the type of artist I am though, I like to make amazing things and then destroy it for the experience.

3V micro led. They’re all over Amazon for cheap. They’re 1/6 the size of the head of a match and you want the 3v not the 5v. You will need a buck converter to run the 5v and it’s far too large to stuff into an mg. I’m ag-13 cells they run one LED for about 45min. 4cells and 3 led(like in the video) will end the battery in about an hour. With a little more electronics skill you can use a 1s lipo from a small drone. The one in my mg wing zero custom powers 16 led for hours. Hope this helps

OMG!! cant believe i never thought of something as simple of marking my runners with tape and writing the letters. I literally just lay them in alphabetic order and when i need a specific runner i sing my A,B,C's till i get it🤣🤣

I just got into Gunpla models a couple months ago and absolutely love putting them together now I’m starting to want to customize them more. I don’t think I could be this creative with it though. That looks friggin’ awesome and is totally out of my league for what I had in mind on doing.
