    I’ve watched several restaurant chefs making fried rice. They were all similar. 1. Lightly scramble your eggs. About one per person. Don’t over cook. Remove to bowl or plate. 2. Stir fry veggies. Don’t over cook. 3. Add meat/fish/chicken and stir fry (if you have cooked meat, add to pan to reheat.) 4. Add day old cold rice. 5. Add your sauce. Taste and adjust as needed. It’s delicious every time. Debi in Vicksburg, MS. 🥰🥰

    On the wraps try spreading cream cheese on them before putting all the stuff inside, they won’t be so dry : )

    Yes!! Bacon grease gravy!!! I save my bacon grease! I keep it in a canning jar in the fridge bc I don’t use it as much as I used to when I was feeding a young family

    tip on your omellet ... turn the heat down, way to hot, also you dont need to flip it, just wait till the top is shiny and done, put your toppings on half and fold other half over it but .... turn the heat down.

    I love seeing you cooking on a regular stove top everyone has a glass top stove and I hated mine I thought how nice it would be to have a new fangled stove!! NOT!! I hated it and finally after years of cooking on it trying to keep it clean I went looking for a good used old school stove I found a 1987 whirlpool stove and I’m in love ❤ it stays nice and clean and it cooks superb and I can , can on it!!! Believe me you don’t want a glass/ ceramic top stove

    I love adding alittle pancake mix to omelets it makes them more fluffy.
    For the ranch packet, i use a mason jar. Add everything then shake. Its also best after 24 hours. We also like to add some pickle juice to ours

    When I am really challenging myself, I actually pick the corn out of the mix veg. It makes the traditional fried rice AND you have corn to toss in a Mexican dish or side dish for another meal. I probably wouldn't have made the rice with chicken broth either--that would be lots of salt. BTW, why do people take the time to find something negative to say to content creators? Didn't their mommas teach them if they don't have something nice to say, STHU! Good video!

    I wish my country had cheap food. It's getting stupid in New Zealand. Just the chicken items would almost be that whole haul. P. S. Eggs right bow is $5.50 for six eggs. I almost died at that price. Videos like these really help because now more then ever we need to know how to stretch a meal. Thank you.

    Here is a cost cutting trick I use for any recipes that call for using milk. I always have powdered milk on hand. I mix up the amount I want/need and use that instead of regular milk (which has gotten pretty pricey). You can not taste the difference when using powdered milk vs fresh when cooking.

    Lovely, simple delicious meals. Great video. Once I got 2 dozen eggs from a friend of mine who got it from a farm, their refrigerator broke so they were giving the eggs away, I made a 'strata' which is a giant omlet but with extra bread cubes and diced sausage etc. I got t the recipe from @brunchwithbobbyflay. Also we like to hard boil a lot of eggs for fast lunches and snacks.We love fried rice at home too. A lot of great meal ideas. Best wishes for continued success 😊

    I made the chicken fried rice and it came out very good. I used leftover cooked onions and peppers and added chicken bouillon powder to my rice in the instant pot as it was cooking. Thanks for this recipe/method. First time I've been successful at fried rice. You're a good teacher.

    Wow you got a great price on your food. Here the same items would cost way over twice that much in California.
    rotisserie chicken is 8.99 each, tortillas 5.69 each, spinach wraps 6.57, spaghetti sauce 2.00, oats 5.56, eggs 4.99 each sometimes 5.69, cheese 2.97 for 8 oz, slice cheese over 5.00, bbq sauce 3.00, mayo 4.00 something, cream of chicken 1.29, milk 2.89, sausage 4.97, ltalian cheese over 5.00, ham slices 10.00, cream cheese 2.99, peanut butter 3.69, strawberries 2.99,. And I bargain shop. I go to the dollar store, walmart and discount stores. Every time you go to the store the prices go up.

    • @joycescott-vp1xm
      @joycescott-vp1xm 11 месяцев назад

      Ya my rotisserie chicken is
      $ 10 in pa haven't seen $5.00 rotisserie chicken in years, mayo cost $6.59 and so on, but cookies and bacon doesn't shop for each video , I noticed she uses what she has on hand a lot , not actually purchasing at that moment , so the prices aren't accurate , so those budget amount are wrong.
