So happy to see that you enjoyed my pick again! :D Funny story, Jan Egeland told in a interview that after this song was released, he was in New York at a big UN meeting, and at the end of the day the colleagues ended the meeting by showing the "Jan Egeland"-music video on a big screen. I can imagine that it provided some laughter amongst his colleagues.
Well, it is always problematic to be Scandinavian and trying to show something that is not Scandinavian to people that are not Scandinavian.
Yes, this was a UN meeting with over 80 world leader, quite the unreal he said.
He knew about the song because his nephew was at the stadium when they recorded parts of the video.

I don't think they've repeated the same genre twice. All their songs are different and WILDLY so. My favourite is "Old Friends" which is a dark as hell comedy song that sounds like Simon & Garfunkel or Everly Brothers or something like that. "Massachusetts" is also hilarious, reminds me of the type of "genre" an American sitcom from the 90s would have. With some gospel thrown in.
Please do two tracks from the band Be Bop Deluxe from their album Sunburst Finish. They run into each other. 1) Crying to the Sky 😮2) Sleep That Burns. A great 70s english band no one could peg. The guitarist is well respected. First song, a beautiful ballad, second song, a wild ride. You will not be dissapointed.Thanks!
