Old clutch for ac pump or air pump or hydraulic pump?

Maybe a centrifugal clutch like used on old mini bikes?
I thought that too but something just didn’t look right inside and given it came out of a 142 yr old basement that use to be a Chevy dealership dating back at least 110 yrs is what me think automotive??? Thanks for sharing and watching I really appreciate the ideas.
It's definitely a centrifugal clutch, but the mating teeth on the face look a bit odd, as if they either would drive a gear that is orthogonal to the rotating surface, or it would have had the same teeth pattern locking in and rotating on the same axis
Maybe it was supposed to engage with a driveshaft and not a belt or a chain like we're used to nowdays
It looks like an old fan clutch. Possibly to a radiator. The fin and grooved surface may be for cooling, and not teeth for a gear.
