I cannot get enough of Innate Passage right now, it's hands-down the best thing I've heard in years. This track is fantastic, so lush and dreamy, bold and upbeat, strong and beautiful. Such a great way to close the album.

UPDATE : I'm still in love with this album.
Omens was exemplary but Innate Passage is sublime. This the is sound of a band absolutely at the top of their game.
What on Earth will they come up with next?

I just recently got into Elder, and this is the first album in I don't even know how long where I haven't needed to skip a track. I'm not even sure what my favorite track is because there are three that I waffle between depending on the day of the week. This song is gorgeous, and I can't wait to see them play in Austin in 8 days!

We often ask the cause of the tragedy - What would happen if we asked, "What might be the purpose?"

We see the mark on every one of us
A million times burned so deep into the mind
We gather stars, pretending they respond to us
    Seeing nothing of the signs
    [Chorus]
To the purpose you cannot belong
    It’s all in one alone
You seek it in the great beyond
    But it cannot be known
    [Verse 2]
Was it then a different world than now?
A million years burnt so deep into the sky
We know the ground’s prepared and walk with ease
    Seeing nothing of the signs

Amazing album overall, Elder's transition into a post-rock band was unexpected but welcome.

Even if they went to Samba, Elder would dominate the genre,
but I hope they return to the 2008/2011/2013 tones.

Just discovered this album a few hours ago. I love it. They kind of remind me of Dream Theater

Reminds me a lot of Reflections (which in my book is a great thin!). Thanks, Elder!

Why is this song so pretty? And makes me feel melonconic at the same time.
The into arpeggio is hauntingly beautiful.
