I'm really enjoying your videos and Im looking forward to more. I was hoping you could do a video with an in depth discussion on footwork in this system considering how different the stance is from many other systems. Thanks!

Wow! That was extreamly usefull. Maybe that mistake is the reason for some shoulder pain i've got sometimes after sparing.
I also have a question. I've learnd that it is usefull to start a first attack only with a small cut, not with a molinet, because it could open my self for counter attacks to my hand and arm. What is the best way to start such a cut when standing in 2nd (arm extended straight from shoulder)? Especially if i want to do a 3 & 4 (upward motion) they come somewhat slow and powerless. Maybe it's a mistake in my grip?

In that case you have to make sure that your power generation is very clean and you have to practice making that cut from second until your eyes bleed so that it will be.

Russ, is the training sabre you use in the video widely available for purchase?

Yes sir, from Michal Sadowski of Medieval Armory in Poland. This is one of his low-end sabres, and I strongly recommend them as club "beaters," having never appreciably damaged, let alone broken, one in well over three years.
