This really is just that classic car arcade game that was at EVERY arcade.
Not only that, the Nintendo Switch version has more tracks and vehicles than the arcade original... including a hammerhead shark with an optional frickin' laser beam attached to its head!
Or that kind of free game from android :)
I never saw this. Though to be fair, I rarely went to arcades after 2008. The one arcade game I remember seeing everywhere was daytona usa

This game looks like fun. Despite never having played it, it gives me some sense of nostalgia because it looks like an arcade game I would've played when I was younger.
After playing this game for some time now, I can say that this is one of the greatest racing games on Nintendo Switch.
FINALLY. I finally found the game I played the actual arcade version of while on holiday a few years back.
Every now and then I would think about this game but it was just one of those situations where I could not for the life of me remember the name of it.
SO GLAD I FOUND IT AFTER ALL THIS TIME 🥳🥳🥳🥳

The whole Rush series was great. San Francisco Rush and Rush 2: Extreme Racing USA were great too.

It is just me or the camera angle is so bad that you can't see what's in front of you like the half of the time...

More like Asphault plays like Cruis'n. Lol. Raw Thrills has been using this formula for their racers since their last few entries (the Fast and the Furious games... which was later ported to the Wii as really plain Cruis'n). This series is older than you think...much older than Asphault
If you search for Cruis'n world you'll find the gameplay comes from way back.

Sadly it won't. Nintendo bought the rights to this series years ago when Midway went bust.
@@FatManandPop actually it was always nintendo's and midway never bought the rights only in 2016 they gave the rights to raw thrills so they could bring out a new release the ceo of raw trills worked at midway and was the one who created cruis'n as it was nintendo's way to compete with other companies like sega with racing games.

Sadly, graphics took a big hit. Illumination is gone and replaced with a basic world light. Its understandable as its switch and is like 20% less power than a ps4, but they could have at least ported it to other consoles in full glory . For now, only the arcade version is the superior sadly .
I'm looking forward to getting this. Trying for a physical copy but if I can't find one I'll settle on the download
Excellent ce jeu ! Je l ai testé sur Switch et avec le volant Mario Kart il est encore mieux ! Excellent this game! I tested it on Switch and with the Mario Kart wheel it is even better! Dommage qu il manque les voix des commentateurs, les checkpoints et des details dans les decors ! Too bad it lacks the voices of commentators, checkpoints and details in the sets!

The gameplay has me wondering why they called it Cruis'n instead of Rush. This reminds me far more of something like Rush 2049 than any of the Cruis'n titles. Looks fun though!

This is like an Asphalt rip off. I mean, I like the game and will buy it, but the "inspiration" is obvious.
Also, that camera angle is kinda bad, I hope settings allow a "farther" view

Cruis’n started in 1997 under a now defunct company. This company just picked up where they left off.
Bro, there were countless games that did this LONG before Asphalt came along. It's just that asphalt managed to become the more "normie" or "mainstream" series, and now a bunch of kids think that every other game that does something like that is an asphalt rip off. Basically, Asphalt is like the fortnite of racing games.
The arcade to console conversion is horrible! I still play this Arcade game weekly at the mall. It looks like a washed out bootleg! At this time of age, the conversion should be exactly the same! Reminds me of all those arcade to console games over the last 2 decades! Just horrendous! I got the game for Switch but I don’t play it. 😮
