hi Sam
can you advise on a similar issue on the same motherboard.
I had to replace the battery smd connector on the motherboard and I suspect a line may not be very conductive.
The motherboard does not detect the appearance of the battery. windows say battery not detected
Do you have any experience with this?
There is a possibility that the battery does not hold its charge and is broken because after 8 seconds without the power supply it tilts
it even seems to charge if i keep power on. battery volts rise to 8.3V (7.5 normal)

you can use any MOS-Fet from another MB or I can send to you.

you are saying that for not baterry detected may a mosfet is rensponsible?
if yes wich one ? maybe those near power jack socet?
