I don't think I commented 2 years ago, but now I am. I grew up listening to the French Suites as well as the English Suites. I've loved the French Suites since I was 3 & 4 years old and once returning home around 5 years old my father asked me what was the one thing I missed and I said, the French Suites and my bed time was very late that night as he let me listent them in their entirety. For me it's BACH foremost, then the Scarlatti boys and one of my discoveries in college many, many years ago now, Zelenka. You played this so beautifully and with such joy and skill and now for what is many times over listening I'm still moved! Grazie mille, Maestra Chiara!
Chiara, you play from the heart! Because of this, you do great honor to the music of JS Bach. I hope more people like you did exist. You know how to delve deep into the music from within the heart. And I think this is all that matters & requires from any performer. I assume Bach would look for these special pupils & tell them that they have special potential for making his music’s dream come true & with more proper training from the master himself, you can become perfectly interpreted in the exact way a master would expect out of his creation! -Hooray! And This will ultimately be a celebration for the greatest music of all time! In this way, the music of Bach shall live forever! May the entire world know of his greatness.
