Out of state trout fisherman here, thinking of moving to the area. This section of the river is absolutely stunning. Which other rivers (or branches) in the area have a similar feel? Love the water volume and clarity here so I'm looking for similar sections.

I'm just going by my hiking experience and my friend who's a fly fisherman. North Toe River and Cane River are nearby where I've seen fishermen in the waters often. My friend really likes Curtis Creek, Newberry Creek, Armstrong Creek, and Jacob Fork which are south of this area. Harper Creek, Wilson Creek, Steels Creek, Upper Creek, and Johns River are popular east of this area.

I live an hour from here, great place I'd recomend taking a gun we had a black bear charge at us luckily a warning shot scared it off

I carry pepper gel for loose dogs, but never carry bear spray or a gun in the Southeast. I'm not particularly concerned with black bear encounters.
