Exactly! This technique is just as much work, if not more than just doing it the traditional way. You don't use the clone stamp for this anyway. I can't understand why so many photogs ignore the other tools like they're using an old version of photoshop lol. The patch tool, if used correctly and skillfully will clean most of this up way quicker.
This doesn't look like a great method. You could have more easily use the newish "remove" tool to get better results, or use frequency separation and remove the hair and clone texture back on the texture layer while also using that freq sep to do your other retouching. Been liking your videos, just felt this one was a little clunky.
