Wife said we needed a family wagon. I was worried a wagon would make me look like some kind of soccer mum. Then I found this car. Bought the 206Tsi R-Line estate in black. Bought the window shade pack from VW and now it looks absolutely murdered out.. Beast
I have a 2017 BiTDI model saloon remapped. Love it. I will say my fuel consumption hardly changed running about 290ish bhp. Long term 40+, must check the latest reading tomorrow. I have the digital dash. I don’t have the wind noise or the freezing infotainment. Great sleeper.
They are brilliant sleepers, so many people underestimate them as they just think oh a Passat 😂 I’m always in the 30s mpg range normally sits at 32mpg. You seem to be very lucky with the wind noise then… everyone we’ve spoken to have wind noise maybe yours wasn’t made on a Friday like mine 😂
I have the 150TDi, love the car! it also doubles up as a tent when I cover RallyCross all over the country :) LOVE those rims BTW. you mentioned the economy on the 150, I do Bolton to dover (Lydden Hill) 600 miles round trip, I use around 2/3 of a tank, usually the full tank gets me around 7-800 miles...
Thats awesome, do you have the roof tent system? The 150tdi car is brilliant on miles if your sensible, like any car they will drink more when thrashed but the 150tdi has to be the best for fuel efficiency and still nippy thanks to the torque. It’s surprising the wheels get a lot of interest, there’s not another bitdi modded near me and it’s always getting attention.
My bitdi does 600miles on full tank that to say I put 60£ in every second week I do long and short journey s 40 litres of fuel does me 2 weeks drive in sport so weekly 20 l at1.45 10milesat1liter of fuel
@@vladimirmoravec you must have some special engine, or somethings out, my full tank is £98 the car will say I will do 540miles but that’s the biggest lie ever, everyone in the bitdi group don’t get 500miles standard more like 450-480 remapped 250-320 depending on heavy footed. I physically watch my fuel gauge move. Have you had yours remapped for efficiency?
i own a 2019 TSI ex australian cop car, same as that, same color. she absolutley boogies in sport mode, eco and comfort mode except when i want to have a play.
The camera man needs to show us the bits of the car, he stays on one angle far too long while you’re talking about the different bits on the car. But good video otherwise
Hey, Lovely car. Is it on lowering springs or coilovers? How would you rate the comfort level of the drive compared to the stock springs? Have the same car but wouldnt want the ride to be too harsh if I were to lower it. Mine is on the stock 18" alloys at the moment. Thanks!
So 40mm eibach pro springs on best way to describe it in dcc form comfort =normal normal=sport sport=sporty I’m back on stock 18s for the winter and is noticeably more comfortable than the 19 but you do feel less feel back compared to 19s hope that helps
@@EdtheGardener 40mm lowering springs would be fine you won’t sacrifice much comfort. If you ever increase alloy size to 19 you will get a lot more road feel back also. Would also look the bee’s knee’s 👍🏻

Audi a6 c7 black edition 3.0 272bhp so much better. Remap 325bhp. Exhaust 375bhp beautiful. Got the b6 passat had the 1.6 new passat shit shocking body roll.
Nice figures. I’d have thought you would have had more body roll in the a6 than the Passat as the a6 is the heavier out the two. Body roll was minimal on my estate damn near nothing now. Can get the back end out and it’s even half predictable lowering springs and front adjustable drop links backs firm enough.

Who remapped it ?
It would be better if the camera "person" focused on the car centre shot and not the guy speaking.
Thanks for the feedback 👍🏻

Hello.
Yes it’s been lowered on eibach pro comfort spring 35-40mm along with adjustable drop link racing top mounts.
