    When it comes to mining the solid fuel, you should be using the 4 side ports rather than the 2 end ones. 4 stone and 4 plant matter inputs giving you 2 fuel outputs at the end. It should (I think) significantly speed up production.

    • @shadowheart8279
      @shadowheart8279 Год назад

      It don't cause once it gets to 0 they still load at the same speed and once your caught up it just takes 1 at a time.

    • @RussWRN
      @RussWRN Год назад +5

      @@shadowheart8279 more Inserters will make product faster as long as waiting to fill is the choke point. He has 4 inserters inputting limestone across 4 assemblers. If you delete 2 of them, rotate sideways and use 4 inserters per assemblies you have doubled your intake speed of resources which will equate to faster outputs till you reach the point where you are inputing faster than it assembles.
      I have two assemblers with 6 limestone inputs and 4 plant fiber inputs. This leaves me 2 outputs. You are better off using more inputs on anything that takes more than a few seconds to craft- especially when you need 20 or more of a single resource.

    The power requirement for unlocks is not constant power, it's a one time cost taken from accumulator charge. This is also the reason you have "power" at the lower right of the unlock window.

      @@TGSamantha091 To my understanding part of this is that professional streamers/RUclipsrs have to go fast so they don't really have that much time to fully analyze what they are taking in. This also leads to a certain amount of tunnel vision. The unfortunate thing is that they need to "go fast" to keep the majority of watchers engaged.

    • @fortgeorge
      @fortgeorge Год назад +3

      @@blacke4dawn Yeah, RUclipsr/Stream tunnel vision, it's from trying to perform under pressure from what I remember. Some RUclipsrs stop recording then come back once they have looked into more complicated features further to comprehend it correctly. Some record straight through and miss stuff, which isn't a bad thing, it allows for more interaction with the community.
      Can't do that very well on live streams, but I suppose they could take a bathroom break or whatever and do it then?
      This is all observational and intro psych, so take it with several grains of salt. hah

    10:00 Plantmatter has a fuel value of 5 and biobricks have a fuel value of 35 base. if you recalculate the formula it comes out to 5 plantmatter/biobrick if you handcraft and 2.5 plantmatter per biobrick using the assemblers. So with the assemblers you're turning 12.5 fuel into 35 fuel (handcraft is 25 to 35 fuel)

    It's accumulated power that you need for the cores... It's all the batteries you have in the other area that need to be charged to create the cores and do the research. I'm assuming as you create the cores and do the research it discharges the batteries and then you have to wait for them to charge again before you can do more.

    • @jynx2501

    I may be missing something but not sure how power is supposed to work with the water wheels, but I have found you basically only gain power at a two gen to one wheel configuration, more gens do not add more power, more wheels do not add more power. This may be changed with a patch, but from testing this is how it works right now.

    • @etherialmind4268

    Math is hard. 50 Limestone contributed to making 10 bio-bricks. So, 5 Limestone and 2.5 Plant Matter per bio brick. 35 is the base fuel power. The percentage increases are not displayed, at BioDense IV they are 77 fuel power. And you were right, you were looking at it wrong. It is an accumulator charge required to do the research. A one time surge of power needed from the accumulators to complete the research.
