When it comes to mining the solid fuel, you should be using the 4 side ports rather than the 2 end ones. 4 stone and 4 plant matter inputs giving you 2 fuel outputs at the end. It should (I think) significantly speed up production.

Something to keep in mind with the biobricks. For the 25 and 50 your making 10 bricks. Each with 35 +bonus fuel each. Effectively 350+ fuel unit per craft.
You probably know this by now, but there is a research unlock for erase mass 1 and 2. That would allow you to delete by holding clicks. Seems you keep overlooking it
Hey Z, when you open your tech tree, the "power" number in the bottom right is what you need for those unlocks. When you were talking about it you were already at 120K. You just need more accumulators. That's all
I think you are needing more batteries to accumulate more power ( your technically wasting unused power) plue rerouting your biofuel to feed the miners first could help :)
10:00 Plantmatter has a fuel value of 5 and biobricks have a fuel value of 35 base. if you recalculate the formula it comes out to 5 plantmatter/biobrick if you handcraft and 2.5 plantmatter per biobrick using the assemblers. So with the assemblers you're turning 12.5 fuel into 35 fuel (handcraft is 25 to 35 fuel)
It's accumulated power that you need for the cores... It's all the batteries you have in the other area that need to be charged to create the cores and do the research. I'm assuming as you create the cores and do the research it discharges the batteries and then you have to wait for them to charge again before you can do more.
I have all my cores on a completely separate grid without any accumulators. I research multiple things all the time, and there are no power transfers from accumulators. Either its broken right now, or the cores provide their own power for research. The purples are 300 something and the blues are 800 something.
you are correct with the cave terms of the pillar looking things in the game of this game Z1. and love seeing this play through as well would love to see even more also please. Thank You.
It adds to the complexity a bit but I noticed you were having the same timing issue I was on assemblers getting jammed up on one material and that would mess up my inserters. I switched to running conveyors to a storage box as a buffer and then out of the storage box to the assembler to keep things running smoothly. YMMV
12:40 You haven't noticed it yet but there is a recipe in your craft menu that says 2 kindlevine extract turns into 1 limestone if thrown into a smelter
I recommend you flip the fuel belt so it goes to the limestone miners first then the copper miners and then the iron miners. p.s fill assemblers from the 4 port sides and extract fuel from the 2 port side.
You have a fast inserter for the plant matter (25/cycle) and a slower long inserter for limestone (50/cycle). Just swap the lines so the plant matter is further away and the limestone is closer.
I may be missing something but not sure how power is supposed to work with the water wheels, but I have found you basically only gain power at a two gen to one wheel configuration, more gens do not add more power, more wheels do not add more power. This may be changed with a patch, but from testing this is how it works right now.
Math is hard. 50 Limestone contributed to making 10 bio-bricks. So, 5 Limestone and 2.5 Plant Matter per bio brick. 35 is the base fuel power. The percentage increases are not displayed, at BioDense IV they are 77 fuel power. And you were right, you were looking at it wrong. It is an accumulator charge required to do the research. A one time surge of power needed from the accumulators to complete the research.
Maybe a Storage containing ONLY Limestone, located by the Assembers feeding directly into the Assemblers via Fast Inserter?!? Each Storage could server TWO Assembers that are producing Biobricks?!? Then remove the existing Limestone Storage and relocate it all to the Biobrick Assember area...
You can deactivate mole and some other useless thing after deactivating you can get cores back in this way you can spend your core on other things Another tip is you can stack light stick together and it will increase your visibility
He would've been better off putting those assemblers long-ways to allow him to have multiple inserters for each item... I believe they have 12 logistical points on each machine, but he's limited himself to 4.
Ive built my hub in the same spot as you but i do nt have limestone there i have copper and iron opposite but i do have 3 spots of limestone and the bricks last a longgggggggg time i put 500 into my off grid limestone and went afk and when i checked 2 hours later i was down to 350 but i only had 2 drills running i'm hoping once i upgrade the drills the fuel will last longer. Also its a nice view from on top of the building when looking down.
research probably just uses all accumulated charge once then needs no more up keep as it is unlocked. it doesn’t say it needs a constant supply of power.
Can't you use the accumulators you scanned in that battery room to hold a charge and discharge for the required power for the blue cores. If that makes sense .. does in my head .... ish
I need to know this, I have a biobrick setup and I don't know what to do with the shiverthorn extract I'm getting through the plant matter production, should I store it or what

When belting materials, load balancing and prioritizing what is powering your machines is a must.
you can always feed machines multiple times with the same component so they load faster.

Just woke up and was happy to see new video
You can smelt the kindlevine extract and it turns into limestone so you can use it to make more biobricks
Can't you just send some of the bio fuel straight to the limestone drills as they are right under where they are made
was thinking the same. split the line so 50% goes right to those drills....
