I'm loving the update, Get a Xotan hunter captain and kill the special spawns for awesome loot. Focus on killing the Xotan that spawn near your objectives, ignoring them leads to a hassle.
yeah I learned this the other day. I think xsotan hunter is the way to go. The boss mobs that spawn more often also drop the new generation of upgrades more often.
@@Wernerrrrr I have been played most of the missions you can get from the station so far. I should be ready to talk about some good setups to take them on and comment on the captain you might want to bring.
ognite??? I have never ever put ognite on any ship, the one exception is s small pad if I have a really good ognite weapon and don't yet have Avorian skill. Why would you build anythign out of ognite? Save it for your space stations as they can be as heavy as whatever and it doesnt matter!
ogonites armor HP makes it tempting to use, and gyros is where I see it a lot in the work shop designs. I would agree in the end I try to use trinium most of the time.
ogonite is perfect for battle rams,at least it was,i didn´t build a ramship since 2020. but if it still works and you don´t like shooting at an enemy for 5 minutes... just ram that sucker into oblivion ^^
Well, good intro, but for the noobs trying to do this, not having had ANY experience with the rift stuff, I was completely lost on how you exited out of there the way you did. I saw you charging up, and said something regarding left shift, but there was really no explanation given. I've been using the ripcord device in inventory to leave the rift, but have never gotten a mission completion notification. Notably, the rift dlc by itself is extremely vague, so this helps a little, but generates more questions. The exit part most definitely needs more info regarding getting out of there, and what transpired where you were able to basically warp out of the rift to complete the mission.
Up Date, Rift stations can be found outside of the center of the Galaxy
Update is one word, like that. Also, they spawn everywhere, I found 1 near my starting area, and working on a naonite area one.

Very useful guide!
thanks I was worried about this one. There is more to cover but I believe it's enough to get you started.
@@deadmemegamming Looking forward to a follow up about the expansion

Thanks for the guide, I saw the bad reviews on steam and wanted to check. This DLC seem a little bare bone or oddly designed
It's not bad, I do enjoy most of it. I just don't see how it's more then a $6 DLC.

What ship are you using in this vid? Looks awesome
thank you, helped alot, now i know the dlc is not active on my server, i was wondering why i couldent do anything whit it 😊
can u enter rift with more than 1 ship ? in singleplayer?
I know it is not related, but is someone experiencing massive lag while mining with R-Miners? Also, how do you initiate "Into the Rift - Storyline" ?
you just find a station and take any quest offered by the station. After that you will be contacted by an NPC they will start the chain.
