Sometimes the script doesn't seem to resize the created PNG image. At times it works perfectly, but occasionally, for no apparent reason, it stamps the picture without resizing it. Any ideas why?

In my experience, if the solid layer goes too far off the screen, it won't stamp properly (the image will stretch). Trying to fit the solid layer to the image as much as possible works well. In conclusion, it is important that the XYZ scale does not extend too far off the screen. Fit it to the current screen as much as possible.
