At 6:45 is an AEC Mercury and is somewhere in the UK. It has a UK registration plate and I can tell, from the plate, that the truck was registered in 1968.

I wonder how many of the drivers were boozing before getting behind the wheel……or while driving?

I think the car at 1:11 was a '36 Dodge-I had one years ago- and I think the car at 1:47 was a beautiful Cadillac-sadly, I think some of these were fatal-but a glimpse into our past-thank you!

Lots of people don't realize these old cars had mechanical brakes that means whatever pressure you applied to the pedal is how much stopping power you had and these cars were heavy to begin with.

Every car after about 1932 had HYDRAULIC brakes, except Ford. Henry was a stubborn old coot. Ford got em in '39.

For there heavy ness and made steel. When it came to accident 's they sure did'nt fare very well. After seeing this video you think Ralf Nadder called the Chevrolet Corvair unsafe at any speed. I guess back then they didn't crash test car's like they do today for safety.

I like the car hanging by the bumper by the Charles River. A thought crossed my mind and I know we all like to dream about some things, I was thinking wouldn't it be nice to be able to go back in time with today's money and buy those wrecked cars at their current 1930s-50s prices and bring them all back to today. It was a wild dream but it leaves plenty of food for thought. Maybe one day you could set up a blog and get everyone's thoughts together for a couple of weeks or so, with a prize of some kind for the best voted ideas. Have an entry fee of a few bucks to sponsor the prizes. Like before, it's just a thought. Thanks for sharing this video with all of us, I really enjoyed it. B.T.

No airbags or seatbelts yet most people survived accidents back then.

Metal dash, cloth tops, and get speared by the steering column.
Only way ppl survived was cars went pretty slow.

4:44 is a coupe, not a sedan. Anyway, they just don't make cars like they used to. (And maybe for the better.)

3:55 is a freaking toy car.... but the rest was good.

The most of the Fotos where already shown on other channels. What is called a Sedan is really a coupe and the last pictures are not from Amarica but from Britain. They'er not even from te 30s to 50s!
    Not good!

These are NOT classic cars when in accidents or totaled within a few years of new.. what a joke. It’s like saying a 2018 totaled Honda Civic is a classic car.

True, but the wrecked antique car will bring more tears and regrets today than a 2018 Honda Civic will in 2088...you can bet on that.
