Sorry I'm not very good with words but I'd just like to say that I'm so thankful for a community that doesn't judge you for the hardships you go through or how sensitive/emotional you are. I grew up with no friends and went through a lot of tramatic stuff as a kid and the rink was always there for me to escape, I'd beg my mom to take me every week when I was younger. Skating has been here for me throughout most of my life and I'm hoping to give that positivity and strength back to those who need it. I turned 18 not long ago and it feels like just yesterday I was a lonely, hopeless 14 year old who thought I wouldn't be alive today. But here I am happy, with lots of friends, and absolutely Fucking fearless. And it's because I had this escape to make life not completely suck. I'm so glad I put down those inlines when I was 15 and picked up a pair of quads, it was the start of my healing journey. A journey that would allow me to accept myself for all that I am and it would help me believe that there is power in feminity, compassion, and sensitivity. All the things I cut myself off from in order to protect myself from the life I endured as a child. Thank you Moxi for all that you stand for and all the power and positivity that you push back into the world.
Skating was exactly that for me too!! I was a bigger teen than most of the girls my age back In the late 70’s. Skating was the best “therapy” for me. I was free, dancing and great at speed skating(I was one of the fastest.). I didn’t need a guy to take me on the floor to dance with the rest of my friends because you don’t need one!!😊 You just go on the rink and do what you do. Then when I was 20 I met a guy there and we got married. I thought marrying a skater that skating would be in my life forever but that soon ended after our wedding. Since then I’ve only been skating a few times but now with a new rink and wanting to skate again big time I’m going to start again. I am a lot older but if someone really wants to skate, age doesn’t matter. Just do it. Have fun and enjoy the life out of it. I’m sooooo glad your still here too!!😊
Thank you for making this video. Not much of a skate community here in southern Idaho, so it’s nice to see the love from another part of the world skate family. Love to you all!
I had so much fun watching this and feeling the spirit of everyone in skates. I ordered my first pair three weeks ago and I just can’t wait to experience this for myself. Love everything Moxi is standing for and I’m so happy I purchased from a reliable retailer.
I'm sorry but I genuinely started crying when I saw a plus-sized girl skating with you guys... I've been really worried about roller skating because of my weight and it's so refreshing to see somebody who looks like you doing it!
Take a Derby Boot Camp, first thing most of them teach is how to fall properly! If you know you can fall without getting hurt, the rest comes real fast! You might even get hooked on the game!
I loved seeing you help the girl over the train tracks! I’m a super beginner and would love to do a skate out like this but I fear being left way behind because I can’t keep up and it was so nice to see you guys be a community and support each other and the BLM protests!!
Hey! Who’s the Seattle skater? I’m just outside of Seattle and we have a group of quad skaters that regularly meet now. Let’s skate!!! You’re not alone.
I wish I could be on a roll out with all these cool people. But no I'm from Europe with shitty streets, no friends and I still don't have any balance on my skates.. 😭
So glad y’all are finally speaking up about he blm, I know it’s super hard to talk about and makes us uncomfortable but it’s gotta be done and we cannot silence it

I'm just extremely jealous of the smooth streets there!

I just found the worlds best rollerskaters video.
So? It's popular with girls. No one is telling you that you can't skate. Just don't be rude about it. :)
Think about how cool it would be,
if you could get the moxi panther in all the lolly colors🌈💜❤️💙💛💚💗
