This song is beautiful. I went to this Christian camp called Word of Life for the first time last month and I can honestly say it changed my life. I suffered from depression for more than a year and did some things I'm not proud of, but when I came back from that camp everything was different. I didn't feel that sadness in my heart anymore. God really loves all of us and the fact he died on the cross for us when he didn't have to is amazing. I love you heavenly Father.

I remember when I first became a Christian I was singing this song in my living room at the top of my lungs and when I got to the bridge when they sing "Jesus", an unclean spirit left me....I kid u not! it left with a screech and I continued right on singing. I guess it couldn't take the heat

Being able to worship to this song with about 100+ at youth camp was a blessed experience. God is good!
In 2013 my children and I found ourselves homeless in Lorain, Ohio with nowhere to go but a shelter called Family Promise. I remember feeling so helpless and heartbroken as I walked through the doors of that shelter. I hadn’t a clue what was next. Our first night was the hardest as we lay in a church on air mattresses crying. I remember thinking Jesus you are here with us I know it. As I lay staring in the dark I grabbed my phone and played this song on repeat the whole night. This song got us through every night in the shelters. For 4 months we fell asleep to this song on repeat every night. God was truly present! He is so awesome! I thank Him every day for that experience! God bless you all.

Got this AA, it has it's roots in Christia ity. It genuinely works. I attend aa and it's one of the best decisions I ever made. I hope you're doing okay two years after you made this comment, God bless you

Hmmm. Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not really interested in the Prestonwood version... IMHO it's so 90s era "American Gospel" and is almost totally irrelevant to people outside the church. The Prestonwood version likely only interests believers who like or attend that kind of church... "Preaching to the choir" as they say...
