Who is the worst owner of all time if NOT John Fisher?
Jerry Reinsdorf or Dan snyder it's one of those two
Dan Snyder
Snyder’s definitely the worst in pro sports, but in terms of baseball, you can’t do much worse than Fisher.
Arte Moreno is definitely up the list on bad team owners
Bud Adam or Marge Schott
I see the one dislike comes from John Fisher
I wish you could still view dislikes. There some vids on yt im genuinely interested in knowing haha
@@colonelcallawaypretty sure you can only on PC
As a Mets fan I honestly respect the hell out of Trevor for always being so open and willing to share his experiences.
He most likely doesn't care about the A's and their fans. He most likely just owns the team and is like I own the team cry about it. I feel awful for A's fans in the team's current situation. I don't understand why owners do the stuff he does which is own the team and do absolutely nothing with it and decide no I don't wanna win. And to think owners like him complain about Cohen spending money
All he does is take money from the leagues balance pool and pockets it.
Frfr
He also grew up a VaGiants fan. Wished he'd curse them by owning them instead of our A's. Eff Fish head. He's blight on our team.
And to think Michael Jordan is the last owner to willingly sell his team. A's fans deserve much better than John Fisher. Same thing can be said about a LOT of professional sports teams in NA.
Seeing Trevor May playing OW makes me strangely happy
Grew up as an A’s fan until I got fed up with a certain somebody called Billy Beane. And now Fisher has driven the nail in the coffin of a once great franchise. Much respect to May for speaking about this because owners shouldn’t get away with this. Great video. You earned my sub. Thanks 👍
being an A’s fan means living long enough to realize billy beane was the good guy all along.
Yeah ok….each to our own.
Damn, and here I was thinking my Marlins do everything they can to keep sticking their own head up their rears. Sell the team, Fisher!
My brother is a massive San Jose Earthquakes fan (who fisher also owns) and he despises him as well
Worst owner in all of sports is Jerry Jones, but Fischer is a close second
As a Cowboys fan who believes they'll never win anything while Jerry is the GM, he is no where close to being the worst owner. His methods of trying to get the team back to the Super Bowl might be wrong but he would never allow the Cowboys to be playing at a stadium that's falling apart or practicing at deteriorating facilities. Jerry Jones cares about what he owns while John Fischer is the polar opposite.
Breaking News: Trevor May has been fined $10,000 for hurting John Fisher's feelings despite being retired.
The former Marlins owner left the chat suing season ticket holders the ballpark
Fisher is doing this for the simple flip. He bought the Athletics for pennies and is hoping some group of idiots buys the team for four or five bills. It’s sadly the American way
Unlikely. He would've to make the athletics look good and despite being able to create good teams, they do bad business.
@@KingTitan186 the worst team in football with the worst stadium and the worst game day experience sold for 6 billion dollars. If Fisher gets his plaza in Vegas and can make a sports/entertainment district like he wants, he can easily get 4-5 billion for a total in investment that won’t even be half that.
No, what he really wants is to take a business to Las Vegas so he can run a brothel behind the scenes. Little does he know that Vegas’ “legal prostitutes” aren’t actually allowed to penetrate.
He should’ve sold them a long time ago. It doesn’t make sense to relocate a team to technically a smaller market. Vegas loves their teams but they won’t show up to see a dogshit team nobody would.
He refused to give Brad Pitt more money to get better ball players 😂😂😂
John Fisher (and Lew Wolff) spent 2005-2015 attempting to move to both Fremont and then San Jose, never making a single attempt to do anything in Oakland.
Dan snyder or John Fisher, who is worse?
Gonna say Snyder cuz of the harrassment and he stating he had lots of blackmail material
Thank you for this video, Yankee/Dodger fans on twitter are crying about how hard it is to be a fan of their team, when A's fans like me have dealt with so much bullshit its hard to even keep up. I still have hope that Oakland could potentially stay, but then again that's all I've ever had watching this team, hope.
The A’s DOUBLED season ticket prices for 2022, despite John Fisher having the A’s sell off the A’s entire core. Nearly every season ticket perk was also removed from the season ticket package.
Okay, you got me. I'm subscribed. 😊
I know it's not baseball and in America. You want one owner that trumps John fisher? Owner of a soccer (football) team in the second tier in English league. This owner asked the fans to pay for the tax bill as he refuses to put any money in the club after fan backlash
This was a point I made, there are lower league owners in England who've actually liquidated clubs. Those owners are worse
@@jessnorthcutt8182 yep. Bury FC Sheffield Wednesday, are just to boot
John Fisher refused to work with Raiders owner Mark Davis, and blocked the Raiders from building at the coliseum site. Davis himself has even said it was John Fisher and the A’s who are responsible for the Raiders leaving, not Oakland.
“John Fisher is the worst owner ever!”
*Dan Snyder has entered the chat*
How is this even allowed ? If you as an owner aren’t going to do anything at all to let your team compete they shouldn’t be allowed to own a team period. The mlb has to get involved
I am a huge A's fan, and am extremely infuriated by the decisions of John Fischer.
You guys deserve better
@@waddle4647 thank you
It could be worse that John Fisher sells the team to Dan snyder
@@Whitesox_joey I would not like to think about that.
#SellTheTeam
Y'all deserve better
When sports are only business, as now, hence the results, jerk owners, mediocre players and more. Music, media, corporations, politics, health, the world is the same shit now…
the tribe owns the world these days, they even promote their own products/companies using the tribe's own media outlets unbeknownst to you.
he doesn’t give a sh!t about the fans only the money it’s sad
Trevor gave up his tenth year of player time witch gives him a pension. Much love for his perspective
In 2022, John Fisher donated nearly 1.2 million dollars to fight in opposition against Prop 30. Prop 30 would’ve increased taxes by 1.75% for those that have an income OVER 2 MILLION. Measure would’ve funded wild fire prevention, infrastructure, & electric car incentives
Trevor May retired?!?! He went 4-4 with a 3.50 in 49 appearances?! ATLANTA SIGN HIM!
Get this man 1 million
We have politicians that dont care about us. A MLB owner is nothing.
Old reds owner has him beat imo
@@Wolf-wc1jsyes her
Wish he would have come back to the Mets for a few more years. Great owner and we need the help!!!
Coming from Detroit, Chris Illitch is awful for the same reasons. Took over after his legendary father and Michigan icon Mike Illitch passed away and has had no personal interest in either the Red Wings or Tigers as they simultaneously had some of their worst seasons in their histories. Thank God Yzerman has stepped in and has made the Red Wings respectable again.
I don't want to see the A's move either, and I really don't know much about the situation, so perhaps someone can explain it better too me. I gather they don't have very good attendance or a great TV deal, so their revenue is not that great, which means the team doesn't make much money. If that's not true, somebody tell me. That being the case, people are mad at a greedy billionaire for not giving his money to millionaires to play baseball. Why isn't everyone mad that the greedy millionaires who won't take less money to play in Oakland?
Them losing money is false. Fish head made a profit of 61 million dollars in the 22 season. Hes not just making money off the team but hes pocketing that and welfare money from the league. He lied and said he lost 20 mil but he actually made 60 mil in profit.
The stadium process was coming along fine till he screwed the city over. I dont think he ever had the intention of staying. Raiders wanted to build on the Coliseum site but Fish head c*ck blocked them and started the rooted in Oakland campaign.
Fischer is cheap. He got a new stadium for the San Jose earthquakes and refuses to spend to make the team better. He ranks in the bottom for salary altogether. Hence why we know hes bullshitting when he says he'll spend when he gets a new stadium.
We love iTalk
what does Brad Pitt think about all this?
Asking the real questions here
Instant legend. Seeing him get the save at the first reverse boycott was the absolute highlight of the year for me 💚💛🐘 #selltheteam
How I feel as a White Sox fan😢
“Used that money to benefit by buying the A’s to get wealthier” so every sports owner in the world lmao?
I don't understand. MLB made Frank McCourt sell the Dodgers and the NBA made Donald Sterling sell the Clippers, both for very different reasons. But the underlying tone was they were horrible owners who were bad for their respective sports. So why not Fisher? He's bad for baseball, Oakland, the fans and his players. Manfred is a wimp who needs to stand up to him.
We all know John Fisher will sell the team............as soon as the A's move to Vegas or into the new ballpark in Vegas they'll eventually be in, where the value of the team will triple, therefore making him way richer than he is.
If you want to talk about pro sports owners in general, nobody can get worse than Dan Snyder. Baseball, you can toss it up to John Fisher or Arte Moreno and I would agree with either or.
At least you know fisher isn't pretending to try and spend like John Stanton of the mariners.
Back in old fortnite i would watch dr lupo, tim the tatman, and ninja and never notice iamtrevormay was the baseball player. I've never felt so stupid lmao.
The Vegas A's are going to win the World Series within 3 years and make all the haters eat crow. Just watch. - WW
idunno, I'm pretty unhappy with the Brewers owner right now, he sat back and watched the best manager in the game go to their divisional rival just to save a few bucks. Disgraceful.
Craig Counsell is not the best manager in the game lmao
I don’t know I’m a Mets fan but good video iTalk
My dad actually is friends with John Fisher. I dislike him too, but my dad has told me that John Fisher has said at talks saying that there is no reason to spend money considering the poor stadium and lack of fans due to the draw of the Giants. I still think that John Fisher does not want to spend money because of the playoffs runs and the fans they had then and the protests.
Good video man
“He sees all the other billionaires yachts and he wants a yacht too”
He’s a billionaire. The only way he doesn’t have a yacht is if he just doesn’t want one. Also, business men invest in things. That’d be the whole point in investing, to make money. We can have an honest conversation about the way he treats this team and that he absolutely should sell it to someone who cares. But feigning moral outrage over a billionaire buying a team to make money is kinda ridiculous. At the end of the day, it’s a business. You don’t think Cohens end goal is to make money? That’s every owners goal.
Steve Cohen and his wife, Alex, love the fans or at least show that they love the fans. This A’s dude is the worst kind of owner. Especially for an organization that has a legacy- 9 championships is a lot in MLB. I say that as a Mets fan who’s fully aware of the ‘73 World Series. A’s fans deserve better.
John Fisher’s sister in-law is the granddaughter of the founder of Schnitzer Steel (his wife’s brother’s wife). Schnitzer Steel was one of A’s main oppositions to Howard Terminal, a proposal for an Oakland Stadium he continues to pretend isn't feasible.
After Oakland met the A’s first ask in funding for the A’s stadium project, John Fisher moved the goal posts by upping the price by almost 200 million.
John Fisher said Oakland didn’t raise enough, but the gap currently exists at just 36 million (with more grants pending). 36 million is equivalent to 0.3% of the “12 billion dollar” project.
: John Fisher and the A’s left the table when the A’s and Oakland were in the final steps and close to an agreement, and had even hired a mediator to help iron out the final deals.
Man United fans would like to have a word about the glazer family
I am one. And you nailed it. Worst owners ever.
John Fisher promised to increase spending if his soccer team, the Earthquakes, got a new stadium. They received a new stadium and have consistently remained at the bottom of MLS in spending. Earlier this year he called the stadium "outdated" despite being EIGHT YEARS OLD.
As a Dodger fan, I can empathize with A's fans about having a shite owner. We (Dodger fans) went through a number of years known as the McCourt days. Frank McCourt was a horrible owner. Is this guy worse? If so, MLB should step in like they did with the Dodgers.
John Angelos gives him a run for his money.
Cohen the best owner in baseball? 🤣🤣 this guy
There's someone who's a bit worse than Fisher and that's Jerry Reinsdorf
At least jerry got a World Series win from his team and spent some money and doesn’t auction off players for nothing
@@jadenfoster7729 Jerry lucked into that World Series.
@@thatguy27988I mean he at least traded for the players or developed the players that were key to the run and spent some free agent money fisher does none of that
I would disagree with Cohen being the best mlb owner. The best MLB owners are the ones that won't meddle in d2d operations but, will be able to see the writing on the wall if its too late.
There should be a proper rules for owning a sport team. Like when you adopt a dog from a good shelter, they check your background as suitable and understanding owner and you need to pass those criteria, only then you can adopt a pup!
There's people that actually defend Fisher and blame the fans for the A's current shit state. Fisher's boot must taste great for them lmao
I love Trevor
But also the A’s not caring about winning could be the reason May had a job this season
John Fisher once donated money in opposition to prop 82 in 2006, which would have made preschool free in California.
Who is Frankie
F Jhon fisher
Baseball's Dan Schniter
Edit: dont feel like spell checking is too much for Danny
Doesn't matter if he sells the team or not the reason they are leaving Oakland is because the city won't build them a stadium
That's b.s.. They damn near were close and than kakriot pulled out and started making overtures to Vegas. Vegas don't want the A's. And they hate losers who're transplants.
thanks for making this i need to know
Frank McCourt was pretty horrible for the dodgers like ten years ago
When Marcus Semien was a free agent, John Fisher’s A’s offered him a 1 year 12.5 million dollar contract, with $10 million deferred in 10, one-year installments of $1 million each.
He went to the Blue Jays for 18 Million
He proceeded to pull off a historic season, then get a big contract from a team which he helped lead to their first championship. Everything worked out for him in the end.
Interesting seeing a former player doing Twitch. I wonder what other players do Twitch streaming. Besides Devin Booker and Gordon Heyward.
Lex Luthor if he owned a baseball team
💀
Worst of all is Arte "CODO" Moreno of LAA.
we all know trevor retired bc he knew OG Fortnite was coming back 🥱.
fr fr
All my homies hate John Fisher
Not the worst if arte moreno and Dan snyder exists, but still one of the worse
I’m gonna give a hot take. The A’s moving to Vegas is the greatest thing to happen to that organization. However I think fisher sucks. I hope the A’s do get a better owner bc like Trevor said, there are people out there that actually want to own an MLB team for the right reasons. Fisher doesn’t. I’m also glad I was raised a giants fan lol. Although I wouldn’t call Cohen the best owner in baseball. Sure he spends money and cares for the Mets, but the problem is he makes rookie mistakes like spending money on every big free agent thinking that’s how the Mets will make it to the WS, but as we saw the Mets finished 12 games under .500 despite spending more than any other team in baseball. He’s not a bad owner, but isn’t the best. His biggest issue is he grew up a Mets fan so he doesn’t always look at the Mets from a business perspective if that makes any sense. Great video tho
Say what you will about Oakland, the fans deserve better, the players and other workers deserve better, and MLB deserves better. Wish they could oust him but other owners wouldn't want that precedent.
they wanna move to vegas.....and build the smallest capacity stadium that will be the biggest parking nightmare ever comcieved.......the strip does not have room for a whole ass stadium.
So your gonna do alllll this for capacity crowds of just 30k? That shit aint gonna work. You need to be bringing in 40-50k fans per game.
Oh wait! Thats right! Oh duh they are gonna "restrict supply" of seats to jack up the price so it will just be crypto assholes and influencers and gamblers that can go to the games!......or to cover up that they cant GET more than 30k fans interested in an As game? Hmmmm afraid of TV shots of tens of thousands of empty seats? Oh the horror!
6:05
You haven't heard of Dan Snyder?
0:52 why 140 thousand subscribers, why not 150 subscribers by the end of 2023?
Sky's the limit, I'm just saying 140 for now
Oakland as a city is crap, at least the A’s will start a new destination out of California.
John Fisher is a grabbler.
Hi! Italk love your vids been here since 45k subs
May is foul mouthed.
Oh yes he was. And was absolutely hot garbage🗑 for them

I hope Trevor sees this
Lol watch a documentary on how steve cohen made his money. Actually worse than the owner of this video lol
Lotta respect for this guy telling it like it is. It was pretty dismal seeing the stands this season in Oakland. All one greedy persons fault. Sad.
Change thumbnail to include fisher. It hurts views when Trevor’s face comes with that title.
