I also have an ‘06. I bought it late in the year and could have gotten an ‘07 with the supercharger, but since I only drive on public roads, the NA is fine, power-wise. I also like the vision out the rear window, even if not optimal. I’ve owned it since ‘06 and have no plans on selling.
Aw brilliant 👌 yeh I like the power of the N/A and the way it sounds too. You can’t see too much out the rear but it’s defo more than a supercharged one. I think that says a lot if you’ve owned a car that long and still love it 👌
Same as mine but different colour. Absolutely love it, the whole package. Probably the least powerful car I’ve owned in a long time but waaaaay more fun. Mines the (190) Cost me a bit to get to a high standard though! Exhaust wise I have the 2bular which is awesome, it’s NOT quiet though and often not track day compliant. I had a complete suspension refresh and replace so that made a huge difference to the road feel.
They are fantastic cars. What colour was yours? I’m the same, I went from a 340bhp M3 to 190 in the Exige and the Exige feels every bit as quick. I think I would like to keep mine compliant for track days for when I eventually pluck the courage to go on one. Did you just keep the suspension OEM? That might help with mine
@@whannel525I came from a 400bhp fk2 type r and deffo not as quick off the line but waaaay faster in the twisties. I know what you mean plus it’s much more special to own. Mines a storm titanium. I did keep it OEM. Although I upgraded the track rod ends and did a complete rebuild, I didn’t replace the wishbones I had them sandblasted and painted. Feels so good now and had 4 new tyres (AD08RS) I’ll warn you now though, it was a 4K bill for the suspension but I had a load of other stuff done too. Worth it tho
@@samwilde595 a type R is a cool car too 👌 aw that’s a nice colour on these cars. That could be a good shout to just stick with OEM but do a refresh. It is expensive but like you say, it is worth it for handling and (a bit) of comfort
I had a Larini back box fitted on my Elise it really brings it alive, pops burbles and no drone, go for it, you'll love it.
I think it’s going to be my first modification. Hopefully soon 👌😀
Thanks so much for this. I’ve always been keen on the S2 Exige. Subscribed.
They are amazing cars. Thank you for the sub 👌😀
