Frank Shamrock was one of the toughest fighters to ever compete in the UFC. He holds the world record for the fastest consecutive knockouts, but his biggest fight happened when he was a child, living with his stepfather.
His stepfather emotionally abused him so devastatingly, that even when Frank was sent to a Juvenile Detention Center, the other kids couldn’t believe what he went through. While many kids would be crushed under such pain and suffering, Frank Shamrock was determined to prove why warriors always find a way to win.

I met Frank years back. He was a great guy. He inspired me to better myself and alot of others. Probably the most inspirational person outside my family. Respect to the Legend.

Where’s the mom? I was lucky enough to grow up in a family of love, generosity, positive life lessons, and education. I had a few friends who had violent dads with alcoholism, etc but this is beyond horrifying. Little kid being forced to take his toys and live in a shed out back. How horrendous. Can’t believe the mom would allow this to happen😢

Frank treated that dog like his step dad treated him. What this says about him, his actions, his character and accountability is ultimately his puzzle to figure out. A well adjusted person in regard to respect for the pain of another life and empathy wouldn't have left a dog or other animal in thete care in such a vulnerable situation, a decent persons empathy n well, decency wouldn't allow it.

The dog he was found guilty of animal cruelty for abandoning. Frank was my prototype for a real fighter back when he was doing his thing in Japan n UFC champ. I went to a seminar of his in Aus. Thought he was somebody to look up to. Be careful your role models when your still young n so are they, they can let you down... ask any former fan of R Kelly n Bill Cosby. I really respect dogs and animals so, very let down by Frank as one if his former biggest fans.
