I have bought an Indian because of it being better built etc. I have so many friends who have harleys and all they do is bitch and moan about having to replace and change so much to make it better than stock. Whereas most Indians off the line are well thought out and everything you need. There's a reason why harleys are struggling in this modern day market because of Japanese bikes.
Even though my cruiser/chop days ended over 30 years ago I still sometimes feel the urge for a fat bike. Great job Toad, proving once again that anything with an engine slung between two wheels has its lovable qualities
Have this same exact bike; Indian got this right; aesthetics 👌, Plenty of power, lightweight handling, brakes great just, air ride adjustments, super comfortable (perfect fit 5 10" 210lbs, just a joy to ride. Some cheap plastics pieces and floor boards, also really expensive Indian accessories. This is my seventh bike (Moto Guzzi, Hondas, Kawasaki z900rs, Yamaha Roadliner, vtx1300, This nike is by far my favorite. Then again most expensive. Puts a smile on my face. Just like hot women
Not a bike for the daily commute and not many of us in the UK have the room or garage to house such a big beast. Looks fantastic and probably is on long journeys and/or cruising on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Good review but I would like to have seen a bit of that pull power of this machine.
A good review of an excellent bike. Can you guys do something about the sound in your videos though? Wind noise is ever present and the clumsy crashing guitar riff overlays belong on ten-year-old cable TV motoring channels.
Plus if you got the fat bob, you'd have more power, less weight, better handling, way more options for upgrades, and you'd be paying less. Good choice.
I was looking at this and decided to get the Rocket 3R - more details and more grunt. Maybe for a second ride as I only get 150 miles on the Rocket.....
So a passenger would have to wear a full length boot so they don’t feel the hard bag on the back of their leg? Odd compromise to expect a passenger to make
We are getting lazy, I like the speech style of presentation but 3 bike cameras and no all round pictures... Yes it's a beautiful bike as indians always were and yes we new that they were on a stroke of genius when they lunches the scout some years ago.
Why manufacturers makes tiny tanks, I don't like to stop at the gas station most of the time, there's nothing like the pleasure uninterrupted high way pleasure, for example I like the ftr 1200 but it got a bean tank, so I said, needed a tank swap, then I discovered that the tank is under the seat, huh how to solve that!!! 🤔
Overpriced, overweight, underpowered. Why buy this when you can get a harley softail put bags on it, save 100lbs if weight and get more horsepower and save thousands of dollars and have way more aftermarket parts to choose from, including upgrades where you could smoke this bike. Seriously why buy this when you can get a lowrider S, put viking bags on it an exhaust, a great saddlemen and leave this bike in the dust and still have money left over? Oh and you dont have to deal with the granpda old man bike style.
I have a 2019 Softail Slim with the Milwaukee 8 engine / stage 1 and an 2020 Indian Chieftain / Stage 1. You are mistaken if you are thinking leaving this Indian in the dust. I love both bikes but the 116 Thunderstroke engine is a beast.
@@j.p.7272 Stupid is as Stupid does. Sorry but you're an idiot if you think a 800lb bike with 82HP and 102 TQ at the rear wheel is faster than a 670lb bike with 81hp and 98.5TQ at the rear wheel. Put a stage one on the slim and you can easily get 85HP.
Harley is more name and prestige. They are the second best American bike. Indian has become #1. They both have pretty much same offerings but Indian has much less engine problems. And needs less custom. I have 2 of each.
What do you prefer? This indian springfield or the Harey Road King? Cheers
I was told that the build quality and reliability of the Indian is far superior compared to any HD
@The USS Johnston Thanks for clearing that one up fella
Was looking at both and just purchased a 2020 ROad King Special. Cheers.
@Jimmy Rustled Thanks for the info man

❤️ your reviews! It’s straight-forward about-the-bike talk.
Glad you like them!
honest and straight to the point
Worth getting some work done on the garden gate entrance for I'll wager.

Are you going to review the Scout too?

I love the difference between American and European reviews and comments lol
Woooooooow its a big bike
It's a tank!

I commute with mine :) It does demand some space in the garage, but I manage. What a gorgeous bike!
Leave your car in the driveway? My garage has two bikes and my wife’s Jeep, my truck lives outside. Where are your priorities? 😂
@@maybe5883 I fogot
I forgot rather ;)
Variety is the spice.... 2021 Indian Road Master Dark Horse, 2021 Kwai ZX 14 r! Ride what you can, no shame dying broke.
I want a Springfield Dark Horse!!!
How tall are you?

I'd much rather have a Harley Fat Bob with the drag bars. Ape hangers look naff. Where are the tassles?
Plus if you got the fat bob, you'd have more power, less weight, better handling, way more options for upgrades, and you'd be paying less.

Springfield or rocket 3 for a fun big bike? (Asking for a friend) 👍

I have a 2020 and love mine! I’ve got a few videos on my channel covering mods on the bike.
Does look nice

Needs more annoying commercials.
uBlock Origin on desktop and NewPipe on Android, you fucking pleb
So no traction control, no cornering ABS and brakes that only just about work. All perfectly acceptable on a cheap bike. Except this isn’t.
fit and finish is not as good as Harley...big nasty exposed bolts on headlight cover, wiring all over the place etc.

Looks very cool, but too expensive.
First!
Thanks!
£22,000. Also
LOL.

I understand drinking the Harley coolaide. But Indian is better quality I don't care what you say. Like I said I have both and always preferred Harley
@@brianrhinehart51 lmfao this bike is literally underpowered and overpriced.
You wanna talk about drinking the coolaid...
