Through trial and error, I have finally accepted that I love black. That it’s OK to wear it all the time. I finally got rid of all my colorful summer dresses that I really don’t gravitate towards. I bought instead a whole bunch of cotton black summer dresses that I wear every day without fail. If I want to protect myself from the sun, I will wear a long white linen over shirt. So the black-and-white still looks elegant.I find that wearing these black dresses and these black outfits allow me to really express myself through my jewelry. I get to wear statement earrings. I get to wear statement bags. I get to play with my shoes. I feel that I finally get to be myself.
I've started that same journey. For once I don't feel anxious trying to figure out what to wear.
Never boring black clothes and accessories. Evenings too. Chic. And never out of fashion. I liked.

Living in Aotearoa New Zealand, wearing black is really common. Black, black and more black. Can you wear too much black? Hmmm, no I don't think so, I love it! You can always add a scarf (even on your bag) or a leopard belt for a "pop". Simple + classic + elegant + chic + polished (to use your words!) with varied textures and vibes (oh, the juxtaposition!). Loved the video!
I honestly only own black. No colour or other neutrals in my closet. Love this video!

That second outfit would be great in a business casual setting since jeans are acceptable in some workplaces. I myself have worn all black outfits a couple times and I like how it takes the guesswork out of what to wear. 😊

I am very fair. All black washes me out. I do this with all brown. Much softer and more flattering on me. So, I just imagined all of this in a chocolate brown.
Natural blonde here, I don't look good in black, it sucks the color out of my face. But I can wear navy. I do all this stuff with navy
I just don't look good in black. I think as I've gotten older it looks too harsh, that's not a reflection on all women in their 40s, not at all.. but for me it's a no (trousers yes, tops, coats.. anything too near my face, is a no). On you it looks great 👍 ❤️
