In todays review I drove all the way to Tooting, London to a well known and heavily requested top quality Afghani restaurant and met the chef/owner who has maintained to the traditional, delicious and authentic Afghan cooking ways!

The karahi, Chapli kebab and lamb chop tikka are all Peshawari, Pakistani dishes. Only Kabuli Pulao is Afghani
And historically the people of Peshawar and Peshawar is part of Afghanistan
Peshawar is in Pakistan 🇵🇰. But I love Afghanistan 🇦🇫 food and the people are Alhamdulillah very good Bangladesh 🇧🇩 people are amazing too very humble, it's a great chanel,keep the good work up my brother.

@@LatifsInspired latif you must immediately change the flag. Otherwise pakistanis would really took an offence. Chapli kebab and charsi karahi were not even available in Afghanistan. They are peshwar specific dish. Peshwar is in pakistan.

It’s not really authentic Afghan restaurant (yes authentic Afghan food you can say) it’s Peshwari which is Northern Pakistan
@@shafiquemohammed8476 yes Alhamdulillah it’s Peshawar however the owner is from Kandahar Afghanistan. His Kabuli Pulou (afghani dish) was amazing like all his dishes. The menu is simple and honest food. I love Asian food regardless if it’s Pakistani, Indian, Kashmiri or Bengali. God bless our region as the food is a blessing and brings us together shouldn’t divide us.

All the way from the America’s… I can taste the authenticity. Love it!
I’ve been here many many times and let me tell you it’s amazing! Incredible food (I would recommend getting the mixed grill as a starter because it’s the best I’ve had), great service and the fact you can see them cook in front of you tops off the authenticity. They also give you green tea and a dessert after your meal all for free. Definitely make this a restaurant to visit.

I’m from London and my parents are Ghanaian. You should definitely try Ghanaian/African food like jollof rice, fufu and light soup, Waakye (rice and peas) similar to the Jamaican rice and peas. They’re good too! I love Desi (South Asian) food too. I’ve tried Indian but I wanna try Bangladeshi, Afghani and Pakistani food.

No they're not from Pakistan stop lying these dishes originate from Afghanistan and when millions of afghanis migrated over to Pakistan in a city called Peshawar as afghan refugees, they brought their cuisine and cooking techniques with them. Slowly over time afghan cuisine spread over different parts of Pakistan so it's not a Pakistani cuisine it's very much an afghan cuisine so don't try to claim something that isn't yours because you may fool others but it won't work with everyone.
I have been there last week and it was my first time with Afghan food. If you like delicious food then you should try this restaurant.
That food looked so tasty and beautifully cooked. I knew it was good when you tried the chicken korai which can often be dry and a bit bland and your eyes lit up with pure pleasure. Such a cool place and a real gem! Thanks for taking us!

Latif I’m gonna visit your restaurant in Stoke next time I’m in the area. That Afghan food looked proper. If you like Afghan food , you should try Afghan Grill House in Newcastle. Their Chapli kebab is the best one I’ve had so far.

There is a Namak Mandi in Birmingham, been a few tines and its wonderful. Simple food, high Quality food, traditional food and best of all tasty food all under one roof.

This place is like a little treasure. The food is soooo amazing. Every person that i've recommended it to, in turn recommended it to their family and friends. I would recommend that you book a place upstairs as its more cosy and gives you more privacy

Peshawar is in Pakistan. Karahi is a Pakistani dish. Karahi is literally a word which comes from central Pakistan for a utensil which is deep. Namak Mandi is a market in Peshawar Pakistan. disappointed here. i am someone who is from Peshawar that kabab looked nothing like chapli kabab we have here. its Pashtun-pakistani cusine at most. learn about history and geography before posting. before coming in with hate go read about it yourself guys. thanks peace and love for all.

When I made karahi for my bengali family for the first time my mum and dad kept saying put onions in it. how can you make gravy without onions. we are used to making curry wit an onion base. everyone was pleasantly surprised by how good it tasted.

Loool the funniest part is when he starts eating raw style brown sugar cubes at the end thinking it's a biscuit rather than mixing it in tea but he got there in the end🤣 🤣. I have been so I know food is definitely 10/10 .

Peshawar is Afghanistan! It has been in existence more than 5000 years. How can be father called after his son! Be real. They are very different people and culture. Don’t call yours something it doesn’t belong to you. Your country is created by others and you know how much authority you people have in that geography’. Check the interview of Hamid Gul the ex head of ISI. No harsh feelings. But this is the truth!
The reason you speak like that is because you think like that. U assume the worst because your insides and thoughts are like that, all rotten. Chapli kebab, kabuli pilau, these are all Afghan dishes namely the patan people. The patans dont identify with u punjabis. Thats just facts. Dont claim their culture as your own.
