Yes Yes Yes!! This is exactly what I have learned through reading the scriptures! The waters above does not represent the clouds above earth’s atmosphere, but above outer space.

Thank you so much for sharing this study today, it is the clearest description and explanation that I have heard on this subject so far, using scripture, you obviously have thoroughly researched this by your use of so many relevant verses, and am looking forward to the rest of this fascinating series, maranatha.

All throughout the Bible, Darkness is not seen as something that was simply apart of creation. It has a significant meaning. It represents everything contrary to God’s nature. It is contrary to God’s Kingdom. If Darkness is something that is contrary to God’s character…If God is Light, then why does Darkness exists before the light. Why does God have to say “Let there be light” since He Himself Is Pure Light? Darkness represents blindness, death, judgement, hate, fear, stumbling, drunkenness, demons, Satan’s kingdom…every evil work. Could it be that the Darkness we see in Genesis 1:2 was the end results of God’s judgement and not apart of the begging of some creation process? As the Lord judged Egypt and brought darkness over it’s whole land…could it be, that the same thing was done to the heaven and Earth in Genesis 1:2? Could the “heavens of old” (Genesis 1:1/ 2 Peter 3:5) have been filled with the Glory of God, which means it was full of light and not darkness? Could it be that the darkness was used to judge Lucifer and the angelic being’s realm where they had authority? Then God used that same darkness for two purposes. One: To represent spiritual truths. Two: To create a barrier with frozen waters at it’s edge, to prevent the Light of God from being seen from the earth? Could the darkness have started from the earth and then began to spread outward when the Lord separated the waters from the waters? Is that what it means when the scriptures says, “….He stretched out the heavens…”?

Isaiah 45: 7. I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Container = dome over earth - geocentric earth model instead of heliocentric earth model. I don’t know.
