    This hike looks like something different. You're walking on a lot of rock after the campground section. It looked kind of remote too. I'll definitely follow your steps when I return to Canada next fall 😊 Enjoyed your video as always. Your comparison between 2019 and now was really cool as well!

    You capture this hike very well. We have done many hikes but Rae Glacier has been our most favorite one. this hike just has a little bit of everything to offer. Of all the hikes that you have done what has been your favorite hike?

      Thank you so much. I forgot how enjoyable this hike is. It was 4 years ago that I last did this hike. What spectacular views. You stumped me there with which is my favorite hike. It's a 2 part answer. The first answer is every hike I do is a great hike when I am with Mother Nature😁 I would probably say that my most stunning hike would be the Iceline Trail in Yoho National Park. It's a tough one, but when you get up close to Emerald Glacier all your pain goes away. Also the views looking down at Takkakaw Falls and the valley below were breathtaking😊

    Looks like they did a great job redoing the parking there looks way more organized. Shame they took out all the fire pits at the lake i used to stop in there for a camp fire on the way back down that valley.

    • @LIVEONALBERTA
      @LIVEONALBERTA  Год назад

      Yep no fire pits or wood anymore, but they definately have made it nicer to camp there.

      @@LIVEONALBERTA Not my idea of camping I prefer to be out in the middle of nowhere., but Elbow is a great family camp spot for sure.

      @davebloggs Ya it is perfect for families. I am like you, I like to be away from people and have a nice fire at night😁

      @@LIVEONALBERTA To me the campfire is the whole reason for going, humans have sat around fire for ever its built into our genetics. Normal campsites are just not my thing really.

    Hi, is this a busy trail.?

      @LIVEONALBERTA  Год назад +1

      Probably saw about 20 groups of people on our way up to Elbow Lake. After the lake up to the glacier only about 10 groups. This was on a weekday, I am sure I. The weekends it would be a lot busier😁
