HVS: Full Barn Tour!

- People have been asking me on my Instagram for a full barn tour for a very long time! Although it is lengthy, this tour is thorough and I’m glad to have it all in one place like this. Thank you for checking it out!

With all of the rearing horses I use to position them jumping over jumps in the ring or out on a cross country course. There could be an action scene where the horse spooks during the lesson and the rider is falling off. Just some ideas

For the horses that are rearing and bucking you should make them broncs for a rodeo
good idea! we mostly do english riding at HVS so we don’t typically have rodeos set up, but when we have western events i always bring out the wild ones 😎

Already been mentioned, but the rearing/bucking horses could be fighting, reacting to a snake, or being aggressive/untrained.
I recommend using horses who aren’t rearing to bad for jumps! It really looks like a jumping position!

I know your barn is basically English but you can use those horses in the rearing and bucking positions for like bronc riding in rodeos

Have a episode called the untamed so you use those rearing horses to train but the too wild to do
For the bucking horses in the pasture you could use them for photos with the rider getting buck off or stuff like that

U prob won't see this but the rearing/bucking horses u can use them as like Scared/Misbehaved horses that need training and there in good positions for training
that’s a great idea! a few of them are younger horses, so it fits well with their characters.

You should use the bucking or rearing horse for a lesson gone wrong
I've been seeing SO MANY schleich videos. Now its making me want to take my schleich out of my closet. But then i need to clean my room for space to put them😭.

Space is always a problem for sure! I've always thought Schleichs were super cute, I have a couple but always liked Breyers more🤷
@@_HappyValleyStables_I find breyers are more expensive, but they are also very pretty! I am also planning to atleast get one breyer horse.
@@IEnjoyFruits yes breyers are definitely way less affordable than schleich, which is a downside if you want a big collection for sure!

For rearing horses you could also lay them down like they are rolling
I have a Bullyland Lipizzaner who is rearing but I always use them as a rolling horse

you should do ure own shop because new modles you make can be for it and also in series do those pose horses in a serie the series should be called the bad horses in poses

You maybe somehow could set one of the rearing horses to a jump so it looks like they are jumping it. I also have a rearing horse and it looks better for some jumps than others. It looks great for pictures. I use Schleich so it might work differently for Breyer.
that’s a good idea! i have one that looks really good posed like that but a few of the others look a bit too wild to be jumping… 🧐

Hi love! Yes, everything in the barn is made entirely by myself. Unfortunately I am at college and across the country from HVS right now, so no new tutorials will be dropping until spring. The horses are mostly Breyer Classics, with some Collecta Deluxe and custom models. Good luck with your collection!! :)

@@JesusL0v3rrr these are all 1:12 scale, so mostly Breyer classic and freedom series, and some Collecta Deluxe and Safari Blue Ribbon ☺️

Yes! I just throw a bunch of pics in a Google Doc and print them out very small. I love the detail it adds! You can either find pics of horses on the internet that look like your model horses or take your own pics of the actual models. Both are so cute!

8:56 the rearing horses you can tip onto there frunt legs and they can be like normal sins that would be a gallop pose and bucking horses for rps and stuff like that you can find a horse that looks like one of teh bucking horses maybe have a rider riding the horse that looks like the bucking one when you want it to buck cut the recording grab the bucking one tack it up in the tack put the rider on un cut then there getting bucked then cut again and put it back to teh other horse with the same tack and rider

@@Lovehorses123Thereadorbs6 the barn is large enough for me to just walk among it. just have to be careful where you step. i find other people have way more difficulty navigating it than i do, so i guess i have good muscle memory from the many years i’ve spent working on it!

Happy Valley Stables do you show your Breyer Horses In Model Horse Shows?
No I don't, I enjoy modeling cartoon realism while live shows are usually photo realism, which is just a different sort of thing. It's personal preference, both are really cool and I have so much respect for people that compete!

What do u use for the stalls bedding?
Mostly they are pine shavings. You can buy small quantities at the pet store. Don't use pine shavings for actual pets though! They are not safe for hamsters etc 🥰
You can put a cat next to it and it can be scared😊
