For what the other two replies said, but also dogs will act according to their nature. If the nature was to run out and defend the property (in the dogs' mind) then the defendant didn't have the dogs trained properly or secured as they needed to be so as to get off of the property.
Basically I blame the human rather than the dogs.

I absolutely believe the Defendant told the non verbal patient(who often use sounds to communicate) to "shut up". That little gesture from Part 1(her sound of disgust while explaining the "whaling")clearly demonstrates her level of empathy for others. Really disgusting behavior.
Also... "I didn't know anything about the Plaintiff being hurt". Plaintiff: I have proof she was notified.
Defendant: They left a note on my gate.

I had a dog bite someone once. He pulled out of his collar, and bit a woman who tried to help catch him. My response, "Oh my god, I'm so sorry, did it break the skin? I will pay any medical bills. He has had all his shots." Because that's what you do when your dog bites someone. (It was fine - it hadn't broken the skin, she realized he was just startled when she grabbed him, but I would have paid for any medical. My dog.)

This is what happened with me and my dog. They said they would go to the doctor the next day. So I visited them the next day to see what the damage was and they said they never went. Then we spent like 2 hours talking about how much she didn't like her daughter in law. We were friendly after that.

The defendant is such a lying narcissist. I can’t stand people like her. Another thing is that if you open your gate with a clicker, and your dogs are not contained, there is a good chance they’ll run out, if something gets their attention, or they’re startled by a noise or something, as in this case.

When i had small dogs I was always afraid they run out if somone opened the gate and we have to find and chase after them. I was so paranoiid and my mom was too. So when ppl are coming or leaving I am always thinking about that gate and "wheres the dog?"
If you got 2 big dogs and they can be dangerous and jumpy wouldn't it make sense to leave them in the back yard (if you have) or tied up in the front yard? So if the gate opens they are still contained but can run around outside?

I feel sorry for dogs owned by the defendant as they can be potentially put down as the defendant refuses to take any responsibility and thinks asking “are you alright”, when adrenaline is still running high and the plaintiff would have no idea how she is, absolves her of anything. Letting dogs run on your property when you are not there to supervise, in addition to giving the dogs the opportunity to easily escape and cause havoc, shows the plaintiff should have gotten the police involved with the owner charged with negligence leading to an injury of two people. Courts should remove any rights of the defendant owning dogs.
