That part. Diana taught Mary how to do her makeup. And even did the other girls makeup in the early days. Designed and sewed a few of their early outfits. Diana contributed a LOT to this group and was the special ingredient that made the 3 of them Supreme. Mary said they felt like one complete woman when together.
I love her so much she’s my feminine archetype
You mean Diana?

1st live performance without Florence Ballard. Lyrics are ironic.
david and the temptations performed 🎭
Here the Hollywood palace I recognize the lights on the floor
@llona D Do you have Diana Ross and The Supremes singing The Sound of the City with Sammy Davis Jr from 9/26/67 on The Hollywood Palace!!!
It would be freaking awesome if music could be performed like this nowadays. 😔 Musicians/performers actually sounded great when playing live! 🤟🙂
They had GLAMOUR.
You can hear the difference of the harmonies. I see why the andantes stood in on recording sessions. It doesn’t sound bad, just they don’t have the signature harmonies like with Flo and Mary in backup
Mary absolutely did her thing... MANY times. I may also add, the non inclusion of Mary in that RTL fiasco speaks volumes about her importance in the group. #TeamDiana but also #TeamSupremes! Every one contributed a major part, they were a group, not a DR solo act!
Mary Wilson made sure the RTL tour failed by going on a negative media blitz and spitting like a wet cat in TV interviews. Diana Ross was the Supremes and you know it. People be trying to make the background singers as important or more important than the lead...stop....please stop. Mary was not Diana's equal on any level and her solo career proves it...
As well she should have. I'm not talking equals, I'm talking fairness. Job well done MARY! I LOVE DIANA... but RTL was a drunken, ego driven disaster!
@@HRHPDTV That how Mary wanted it to be...she was hateful and did everything she could to destroy Diana's career...
Diana's eyebrows .... the forerunner of todays' drag queen.
their mic was ONN
ross makeup 💄was nice here she was
Young here
You can't even hear mary and I like that only for this song because you can't never hear cindy on the songs when I first hear this I thought cindy vocals was mary and mary cindy vocals but when I watch cindy sing that when I Realized that it cindy singing like at 5:25 5:48
You really don't want to hear Mary sing!
@@williammials6080 I'm a big Mary fans so what are you talking about and at the end of the song you can tell Mary take over im Gen Z we still have our fav to
Mary Wilson set the tone as a trend setter for the first Black female entertainer to be Blond 👱♂️ 👌 on Nashional television . All the rest followed, Mary j Blige, Beyonce, Vivica A, and the rest.
Mary Wilson is Stunning. On this show. She looks so beautiful and classy. She was the "Superemes".
OK... And the other two?
She was a background singer who sang baby baby and clapped her hands and she was the Supremes. Ok I guess that makes sense.
Was the Supremes? She was a backup singer!
Diana wishes she had the figure those girls had---what!!!! However Diana is the BOSS😊😊😊
The other two girls wish they were Diana.
If yu put a record on turn table an turn it by hand tiil it reaches start point an then turn back, i guess that is t start part of reflections. Sorry Mary passed away, though Cindy Birdsong is ALive an well Praise God. !!!!!
Diane's 💄makeup LORD!
I like the shimy Mary and Cindy were doing😂
