Good morning Greg hope your having an amazing day. Wow now this is an amazing rec pond. How spectacular does this look with the pavers in the bottom of the pond. I absolutely love it. Truly a spectacular design and concept. Wow he took it to the next level. I would definitely do this stone bottom to a rec pond if we can afford to build one. I really love it. This is definitely a statement rec pond and could change millions of peoples minds to do a pond like this instead of a pool. Its just spectacular. Have an amazing day and I'll see you next video like always

these amazing projects put an awful lot of hardscaping on top of a penetrable liner... I'd lose too much sleep over the ticking time bomb and how big a repair might be for a small leak. But yes, absolutely stunning. Love the bluestone patio floor!!!!!
Thank you very much for your kind compliment! Your concern for the liner is understandable but I can assure you that it is completely protected. It is sandwiched between two layers of heavy duty non woven geotextle underlayment that also increases the tensile strength and axial bearing capacity of both the subsoil and 45 mil liner. It is not uncommon to set multi ton boulders on projects when the liner is properly protected. Thank you so much for watching.

This looks amazing but wouldn’t it be a pain keeping the walls of the pool area clean? In a traditional pool you would brush the walls clean, what do you do here?

Honest question. Given pool liners need to replaced semi regularly with salt/chlorine pools, how does this compare?
How is it so crystal clear water with no slight molds in it? Can u explain how is it done?

beautiful project, I wanted to ask you how did you lay the tiles on the sound, did you make a cement substrate and then glue it? or are they just leaned and grouted?
It’s beautiful, wow! I have a question, If you don’t add the salt to the salt ponds can it eventually this ponds works and stay clean with out the salt? Sorry for my English I’m French… thank you.
With the right filtration it could, but they are using it to swim in with no fish so the salt works. They’d have to add a huge wetland filter if they wanted to get rid of salt and keep fish
05:58 Finally it comes out of that all the perimeter is wide-enough for the whole gardening and plantation plus the Rocky area and waterfall.. Only to find that the size of the POOL itself is quite small..ler than i thought it should be.. compared pond to overall prepared space.. (or it's the problem of the camera 's zooming angle, not the fish-eye of the type (wide-angle?), I am not camera-familiar, how to make the real-size of viewing.?)
Maybe that you don't want to waste much on the electric Pumping Bill, for water filtration.. bigger pond, bigger filter needed.

Amazing, but what do you do to clean all that rocks from time to time? Because they can get really dirty, and I see too much work to clean that compared with a pool with the rocks outside instead of submerged inside. This way is much cooler but I fear too much trouble to clean.
