10 Books on Writing Filmmakers Must Read!

One of the most important parts of filmmaking, if not the most important, is of course storytelling.
Over the years I’ve read a lot of books and taken many courses on writing and storytelling. These 10 recommendations have stayed in my mind a lot longer and have helped me organize my creativity to be able to to tell the stories I believe in and are important to me.
Whether you are a writer, a director, a producer, or all three of these, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn’t take the time to read these books. They won’t guarantee you success, but they will help you understand a lot of the mechanics that go into a successful story.
