- Luxation injuries form a major part of traumatic dental injuries. Concussion results in a tooth that is tender to touch or tapping but has not been displaced yet and does not have increased mobility. Subluxation reults in increases mobility with no displacement. Extrusive luxation makes the tooth appear elongated and enhances mobility. In lateral luxation the tooth is
displaced, usually in a palatal/lingual or labial direction intrusive whereas in intrusive luxation the tooth is displaced axially into the alveolar bone.
Awesome presentation and high yielding points👏🏻
Very good concise presentation I work as emergency physician in AE and always struggled to manage or give appropriate advice to dental injury so I asked all to see their dentist

I had an injury on my top central incisors. Both then had root canals. My teeth were then splinted because one of the incisors were mobile. I’ve had the splint for 4 weeks and it is still loose. I don’t want to lose my teeth. 😭 what are my options?
Hi! I recently got hurt and when I bite down on a singular tooth it hurts…( it’s been six months now have you recovered? Did you go to a dentist yet and if you did what did they do)
