To me my Dad is the definition of a true “alpha” figure. Came from a bad home, went into the Air Force, got married, went and became a Firefighter, worked another job washing windows on the side so my mom could stay at home with my brother and I, while working two jobs went to school to become a paramedic, graduate and became A Fire-Medic, became a Lieutenant, all while being an amazing father figure and husband. He not only supported his wife, but his children while making sure we were all taken care off and gave my brother and I a healthy father figure. THATS true alphaism.

My dad is the most manly badass man I know, and he did ballet for years. He can kick your ass, but he won't, because he'd rather make you laugh instead. He never needed to yell at me for intimidation when I made poor choices, he just spoke his mind in a calm way, told me I messed up and showed me how to fix my mistakes. He takes care of loved ones, regardless of the life they choose to live, because he wants to be a person that helps others. He actively works to make his business one that supports both us and our employees, both financially and mentally. He has never made me feel like I couldn't tell him anything, has never made me feel ashamed when I did tell him things that I would otherwise hide from others, and openly listens to those with a different opinion from him. He once told me it was good he and my mother didn't always agree, bc if they did then there'd be no point in two voices. He is both the person who taught me how to do a pirouette and to safely shoot a gun. Hes my role model and my mentor, and he'd laugh his ass off at all this "alpha" bs. God I love my dad, and I hope he lives til the ripe old age of 103, cause idk what id do without him. The world needs more people like him, man or no.

Tinder analytics would disagree with you. 80% of women go for less than 20% of the men. What do these me have in common? They come off as financially successful, over 6 foot tall and display leadership qualities. Men who come across as feeble and overtly emotional do not do well on dating sites. Females, whether humans or animals, historically have gravitated toward the strongest provider in a group of males. There is nothing surprising about this. If a woman makes more money than her male counterpart the marriage is more likely to end in divorce - divorce initiated by the woman btw. Interesting stuff.

Over 6 figures income. In great shape. Do you know what % of men fall into that category? Guess. Now the reality is most long term relationships are solidified based on a series of shared ideals/goals. These things are hard to evaluate on something like Tinder.

20-year-old white-guy here. Got sucked into this kind of thing for a month, so I find it hard to be too critical of the people who follow these guys. I find it scary how easy I was to turn. For those under the guidance of these "Alpha" influencers, they're really just hurt, lonely guys who are being reeled in by the promise of acceptance. It's sad, genuinely. As for those "Alphas", they're just taking advantage of a demographic that, as much as they hide it, are very vulnerable. It's gross behaviour. Now, some things they talk about are beneficial. Exercise is healthy. Obsession with your appearance within some kind of fabricated social hierarchy is not healthy.
I'll give my 19-year-old self some credit, though (normally never do that, hate that guy). I didn't go all the way in, and I didn't spend any money on it. I noticed what was happening and got out (only by the grace of God, I believe). I can only hope that others out there like me take a look around them and scrutinize what's going on. Come on, men. These guys don't care about you. You are just pawns and wallets to them. Self-improvement is good, but it's important to ask yourself why you're doing it. Because you enjoy working out, or because you don't want to look like a loser to your peers?
Edit: I feel the need to clarify that I wasn't even insecure about my appearance. I think I'm a pretty handsome dude. This is to say that, despite having nothing to really be insecure about, they STILL got me. They put insecurities there that didn't exist before.

Guys, the real Alpha is CinnamonToastKen. He is everything that women like in a guy: confident, nice, intelligent, open minded, funny and lastly a dude you can have a beer with. His wife and kids are lucky to have him.

Aw I'm so glad that Gunnar got this exposure he's hilarious and deserves it so much. Also I adore my fiancé. I think he's quite attractive but no matter what, no adult woman wants to "do it in the car" after dinner. Teenagers do it in cars because they cant at home the minute a woman has a house as an option, she's not doing it in a car. That's a guy who was a dweeb in highschool who never got to experience that. So he's literally using these videos to like roleplay fantasize. My curiosity is what does his wife think about him talking about her like this? Not that she'd have an option to speak up in that dynamic. Or another thing I wondered as fake as these men are, is he actually married or is that a model he pays?

My husband always said to be an alpha you need to be able to provide , and protect those who can't protect themselves. Like on American sniper , there's the sheep, the sheep dog and the wolf. Alphas are the sheep dog.

Exactly. Alphas are meant to provide and protect the weak etc
Guarantee none of these self proclaimed "alphas" are interested in doing any of that, only having their own egos stroked by proclaiming themselves as such.

@Someones Surlyuncle well my husband stepped in a robbery and the guy who stole almost stabbed a women. But he stepped in. Stopped the guy but ended up being stabbed 2 cm from his heart. I see that as pretty alpha considering thw women may not have made it if he minded his own business.

I used to take cold showers in high school to wake me up in the morning because my insomnia was a killer but I love nice hot showers. I also had to turn the water warm to actually wash otherwise it was like moving your hand on plastic. I've tried a cold shower recently to wake me up and I almost fell. To each their own but if you actually enjoy cold showers, something might be up lol

Well being that these as/shats are part of the small percentage that MOST women seek out in a male partner, just to be used and treated like dog shit that then complain about the SMALL pool of men they seek out, I’d say they don’t have an issue with that.
Just look at Fresh and Fit.
MOST men are involuntary celibate whereas MOST women almost immediately have sexual access at their fingertips yet seek out a small pool of community peen that they turn and complain about when they can’t “change” the person connected to the community peen.

Any guy that uses the term "alpha male" just know that any non-pick me woman is either laughing her ass off at you or recoiling in disgust. A confident man doesn't have to scream how alpha he is lol, he exudes it. It's a quiet confidence because he doesn't feel tge need to prove it
