I sooo enjoyed this. You are amazing at what you do! This was gooddd 🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹🇹
What I love about Sando is, while POS, understandably, has to come up to "world standard" and has more foreign influence and feel to it like New York, or even London but is still reallyyyy beautiful, San Fernando, because it does not have the pressure of "capital city" status to live up to, has been able maintain that very "TRINI" feel... yet, as a *CITY!* Its as Trini of any cities you'll get; like a huge Chaguanas, Arima, Sangre Grande, Princes Town, Point Fortin, Scarborough all combined! I love that!! It fascinates me and I really hope that the government sticks up to their word and get that waterfront vision complete... the waterfront has soooo much potential.
Thank you for this truly special tour and history vlog!!! Amazinggg. You are a pro!

Thanks for the video, it brought about cherished memories. I attended the original Sando Boys RC school on the Promenade. Attended Southern Polytechnic High School, Sando Tech Institute and did apprenticeship at Fedchem. I also worked at Texaco P-a-P. I played pan in Sando so i have history. Those school days and working experiences made no sense to me then and was just routine but after migration the knowledge brought light to my life. I hung out after school on the Promenade at the engine for most of my Tech years. Married my Tech sweetheart ;). After work I use to swim from the wharf in Sando to Marabella. I also swam with others in the channel at the cement factory Claxton Bay. Young and loved the challenges but although i still love the ocean, i did not fulfill my dream of becoming a certified life guard. Much Luv, PeAcE!

There are two ladies who bring food for the cats and dogs down by the wharf almost every other day...and yeah those buildings have a lot of history, too bad we can’t have them in tip top shape, but who knows with this waterfront project what may...a nice Sando pump, 🙌🏽🙌🏽

That’s phased one of the waterfront project. I expect them to demolish all old structures in the next phased. It would be nice for the people in south. It would include apartments shopping fishing depot green spaces.
