Saying that Kendrick is ducking Jay Electronica, Lupe Fiasco and Joe Budden after the control verse is a hip hop take so geniunely bad that even Los would cringe at it. Are the NFR boys 14 year olds who recently discovered what rap beef is?

Yes
They're peak Drizzy glaze, one dude got so emotional it's kinda sad
I think they're only like 20 years old or something, so yeah prob.

But if it was Kendrick’s meat in his mouth you’d be satisfied.

Letting canadians learn about rap is our biggest mistake yet
I wouldn’t worry too much cos Canada isn’t real
Music in general, bieber was a big mistake too
@@xcbz9176Bieber has suffered enough trust me. And that’s coming from someone that was hating him back when I was a kid and he was a teen.
Just look at Pdiddy who tried to “mentor” him getting exposed..I bet Diddy wasn’t the first or the last one to take advantage of a minor that was trynna help his mother out with bills…

You can't compare disses "bar-for-bar", it is like comparing novels sentence by sentence. Story of Adidon had very few "bars" that stood out, but the whole dissection of Drake's character is what makes it great. Ghost writers are amazing at writing bars, but it is impossible to write lyrical work "bar-for-bar".
Idk I think about "you are hiding a child let that boy come home deadbeat mother fucker playing boarder patrol" like once a week for the past 6 years
It's not impossible
I just realized these NFR dudes are like 23 and don't appear to be familiar with battle rap and mostly grew up with just seeing Drake have feuds. Their expectations are out of wack.
Kendrick using already used lines and repackaging them seems intentional to me. “I’m what the culture feeling” is him essentially just packaging years of things said by people within the HipHop bubble and bringing everyone else up to speed about Drakes dirty laundry. He did that while clowning him at the same time and adding his own layers to them.
Kendrick is lowkey a racist who thinks he gets to take away people’s n word passes 😂 bro’s a lame
its a diss it doesnt have to be a big reveal like pusha t
Yeup and the way NFR guys paint it was just kind of cringeworthy and feeding into the thing Anthony said he hates about beefs nowadays. This shit doesn't need to be investigative journalism. It's competition, who can rap better and who can dismantle the other image more. It's the cringworthy 10 year olds that changes the criteria for a good diss.
@@dontask3613 Talkin about dismantling images, “your best work is a lyt pack” search around the internet for who Daylyt is.
yeah the whole diss is basically just "i fucking hate you and i know i aint the only one"
I also think the reason why Kendrick recycled so many lyrics was to drive home the sentiment that this is what the industry feels about Drake. Not just him.
It’s lazy either way
@@Everythingsoknowwhat’s lazy is having someone else write your shit for you😂 Kendrick put so much effort into euphoria like push ups sounds like it was made in a couple hours like drake said

@@trix278ether didn’t have hella personals either, he said shit everyone knew back then too
@@trix278I dont think Kendrick was going for an Ether. What Kendrick responded with was simply him trying to get a better and more focused response from Drake so that Kendrick has the green light to release something that’ll really hurt Drake’s career. Both disses from both artists were warning shots. People overlook that too much. We’re still in the warm-up phase.
@@isaacsmith2011exactly, I don't get how people don't understand this. Drake made fun of his height, his shoe size, his popularity, how he's not even in the top 3. It was a jab and in response Kendrick counters with his own jabs. After this it's time for the real battle.
I mean he literally said that he has information if drake takes it further so people either aren't listening or they're being purposely bad faith.
@@trix278your comments lets us know you’re a clown without you sayin it. Good job 👍
Fantano: You don’t need a big reveal for it to be a good beef track.
NFR: You’re right, but it doesn’t have a big reveal. So it’s mid.
NFR really showing their age and immaturity. They want a TMZ beef than a lyrical battle who’s the best in rap game.
They also show they’re age and immaturity every-time they unashamedly glaze Ye
Saying Drake is “battle tested” is a terrible take when he doesn’t write his own bars. These guys have the worst takes, straight terminally online opinions.
I guess they’re too young to remember *DrakeFunkFlexFreestyleBlackberry.mp4* .
Now that I think about it I was too young to remember too, but somehow I know about it.
So either they didn’t do their homework, or they’re biased cuz they Canadian.
Im thankful Fantano hopped on a stream with NFR. Them dudes were goin out real bad. They were so damn emotionally invested into their reaction and review of Euphoria, that they didnt give it a fair evaluation. It was painful/hilarious seeing them listen to it. They needed some kind of help for damage control after such a horrible take.
Everyone is biased let’s be real here. The only people that wouldn’t be biased would be non-hiphop heads, but they wouldn’t know the history behind this beef to have a complete outlook anyway.
They’re Canadian so I’m personally not surprised tbh..
just call a spade a spade and leave it at that. It don't always have to get deep
@@hecatrice2064If them being Canadian is clouding their judgement on this, that's embarrassing. The joke about us is that we "don't send our best", I don't see why that's gotta take a step back when it comes to Drake.
I used to respect NFR a lot but they turned into some d riders in the past few years
It just annoys me how their takes sometimes come from just blind bias.
And your watching fantano...
Dawg wdym they’ve only been uploading for 3 years and only got popular within the last 2. The D riding is a recent development and I think it has a lot to due with their Nationality (Canadian……)
You're all d riding kendrick for mid ass response, this is what is wrong with hip hop right now...
@@valeriopasquali9003 fr but to be fair everyone and their mother has been a kendrick stan gassing every single move of his
I think Kendrick achieved two things with Euphoria that are unprecedented: 1) He drove the point home that Drake only presents himself as black for his own benefit; Kendrick basically said Drake wants to be seen as black because he wants to be accepted by the culture but at the same time he does a very poor job of representing black people because of his character, values (or lack thereof) and the way he behaves in general; While all of this had been said before, Kendrick really managed to bring it all together in a cohesive and poignant way. 2) Kendrick pointed out that Drake probably hates women because he doesn't respect them, he surrounds himself with the worst type of women, encourages them to give in to their worst tendencies, and basically treats them like objects; I believe people massively underestimate the impact this will have on Drake (the self-entitled Certified Lover Boy) and his fan base in the long run, especially if Kendrick continues to emphasize this point on future diss tracks.
NFR boys are so bothered. Bruh it’s ok these artists are not our brothers you can just enjoy as entertainment 😂 you don’t have to be personally upset that Drake got flamed.

Between Drake and they’re washed up Ye they are the biggest glazers to ever exist
They keep going at the fact kendrick took 17 days to respond yet it took Drake longer to respond from Like that to kendrick with push-ups...
10 minutes before you even posted this, Kendrick posted his own back to back diss
He should be having this conversation with Los
Good news
NFR is coping so hard lmao
Ngl i don't get the impatience with this shit, "its been almost 3 weeks since pushups i'm ready to give up on kendrick", i guess if you're a rap youtuber and have nothing else to do that feels like a long time but idk i've been going to work and living my life, it didn't feel like a long time to me. And the same is true now, drake can take as long as he wants, my ass has a job to go to every day in the meantime.
Its also why i don't really understand the complaint that kendrick takes a few years to make an albumn, thats a normal amount of time to go between albumns in most genres other than the most commerical of pop music. Its not a long time, i have a job, there is other music, the next albumn comes out sooner than you know it, its fine if you don't expect to only listen to kendrick
They act like Kendrick the only rapper taking years off.
I'm a newbie to rap, so I was very surprised when I found out that Drake v Pusha went on for less than a week, whilst the tracks from the Jay Z v Nas beef were all released several months apart from each other. People have really been spoiled in recent years, I guess.
@@sandenson too spoiled if you ask me. people don't know how to savour good things anymore. its always about the next one and the next one
"I think Kendrick would have done himself a disservice if he limited himself to only things that hadn't been said before" -- Fantano is absolutely right. Since when do disses have to be breaking news? I don't think there's ever been a single diss in the history of rap that didn't capitalize on things that were already known. Why wouldn't you use that against your enemy? The challenge is to be creative with it. Such a stupid take. smh
Drake fans will say that Pusha’s verse was wack because he just exposed secrets. Then they’ll say Kendrick’s was mid bc he didn’t say anything new. Just coping crazy
Because he said verbatim what other people have already said about drake and used the white boy angle when Ross did it 2 weeks ago there was nothing creative. about it. I'm gonna give Kendrick the benefit of the doubt and assume that he's baiting, otherwise it's looking dark for him

@@TrizollinTehWorldThere’s never gonna be “a big reveal” to them. A lot of things Kendrick has talked about have been known…but the stans pretended they were looking the other way…
Well now they can’t ignore it cuz Kendrick is airing it out.
In battle rap, it’s about out classing your opponent. Out rap, out perform, out write. Most cases, only 2 outta the 3 are needed.
You don’t necessarily have to dig up dirt on who you’re battling-and most battles ARE using and building off of what is already widely know about them. It’s for the audience to judge. That’s why Euphoria is the better diss, because Kendrick out rapped, wrote, and out performed.
They are really reaching for ways to try and shade Kendrick here. Wild.

NFR is off here. Adidon is a once in a lifetime bombshell that can’t just easily be repeated. Kendrick covered everything with Drake. Diss tracks shouldn’t just be about dropping dirt on each other. That’s why it’s become this thing where Drake is paying people for info, cause he wants to pull an adidon. Euphoria is a psychological evaluation on everything Drake is and wants to be.

The NFR boys have had some bad takes on this beef for sure, but I dont think the hate on them is warranted. Any critic is likely to have blind spots and some leniency is warranted especially in light of how young these guys are and their Canadian Drake bias. Don’t get me wrong I dont want to make excuses for them, but there’s no reason to be so negative when they clearly had a conversation with Fantano that was very productive in parts. If you listen to these guys regularly you can really see that they have a passion for the music.
How can we call these guys biased for Drake instead of questioning Fantano's bias? He infamously dislikes Drake

@@ayoisthataspiderbiteonyopp9381 give a rebuttal on what? These guys famously love Kendrick. Fantano doesn't really like Drake but gave him props on push ups. All I'm seeing in the comment section is criticism NFR for being Drake fan boys but when you look at the totality of both creators' background, you could make a case that Fantano is also biased. But no one in this comment section cares about bias, you just want content creators to agree with your take. If they don't, you'll make fun of them and call them Drake Stans. Just let people have their own takes. Now please rebuttal that.

I like to think that Drake and his team are watching this and taking notes to see how they can navigate this beef.
People are legit still finding shit in euphoria, it's not his killshot and he even says it at the end. Drake better come hard after though because if he comes with some weak shit I think the level of euphoria is good enough to make it seem like drake still lost.
Honestly idk what angle Drake can even take. Kendrick reframed the whole beef in it just being a love hate thing, nothing to do with being the greatest, and painted Drake as a paranoid weirdo tryna call around to get dirt instead of keeping it friendly. I think what’s interesting about this whole thing that nobody seems to be talking about, is how the “big 3”, are really the last generation of mainstream rappers that also have a very strong lyrical ability and care about lyrics. That same generation however, made waves to create the basic lyrics/trap style that came after them. I’m not talking down on the trap style either, because the flows that were created by the trap style are far more superior than any other rap flows that happened prior, it just seems that lyrics and bars got sacrificed a bit in the process. However the rappers that have been able to maintain lyricism while using the trap flow such has Drake, Cole and Kendrick, have stayed relevant and still remain in the lead of their peers. This is what’s interesting, because in Hiphop generations prior, the following generation has always become better rappers than the previous generation. The 90s rappers like Wutang, 2pac, biggie, nas, jay, OutKast, etc, are unquestionably better than the 80s rappers. Not taking anything away from them at all because each generation has more of foundation to go off of than the prior. The first generation of rappers, had no rappers to get inspiration or direction from. I think this trend even continued into the 2000s with Lil Wayne, Eminem, Kanye, DIPSET, D-block, etc. That 2000s generation directly inspired the 2010s generation with Drake, Cole, Kendrick, Big Sean, Krit, etc. But the generation that came after that didn’t really take the torch. They did venture into more of an experimental place with the music (which is great) but it did seem to get to a point where the music they were making wasn’t really Hiphop anymore. To really hit this home, the Big 3 came out in 2010 which is now 14 years ago. The people that came out or were relevant 14 years before them, are pretty much the 90s cats, which all have legendary status, but by 2010 they weren’t really relevant aside from Jay-Z.
This is very long way of me trying to say, that there should be much younger rappers that are competing for the role of best lyricist. The rap beef of the day, shouldn’t be between rappers that came out 14 years ago.
This diss wasn’t to knock Drake out. He‘s warning Drake so that when he knocks him out and embarrasses him, he doesn’t wanna look like the bad guy.

While I agree that there most likely isn't a single diss track that can take a massive artist out, we might be missing the point as far as Kendrick's intention; Kendrick might just decide to consistently go at Drake and systematically dismantle him until he wipes him out like 50 did with Ja Rule. That would take some doing but I think Kendrick could pull it off. The question is is that Kendrick's intention? At this point, I don't think so. But who knows...
