The flower arrangements in the opaque vases are using flower frogs to give them that wild whimsical look, you need something to hold the stems in place in these types of flower arrangements. I usually use opaque vases and chicken wire as a support nest to make big arrangements. Check out Millie Proust for some inspiration she tells you how to do it as well
As a former florist, i definitely recommend investing in clear floral tape and creating a grid on the top of your containers! It will help the flowers sit and stay where you want them
Flower frogs, chicken wire, and tape grids will help a ton! Some of those pictures use floral foam as well however there’s a healthier alternative called an Oshun pouch that can be bought online and used for some of those Pinterest center pieces.
You can remove some of the heft from that first set of flowers. They will look more open and whimsical if you take apart the bunch. They should start to “grow” and do their thing after several hours.
Try using floral foam or chicken wire within an opaque vase or pot to have more control over how things sit! It’s hard to get the varying heights/directions you see in your Pinterest inspo without it :)
Try taping your vase, it'll help give you some of the flexibility with height and placement you need to make those crazy asymmetrical pieces. That and playing around with the size of your accent flowers can help it look more dynamic!!
Practice makes perfect! The more you put an arrangement together, the easier it will be. Also, some flowers are easier to work with than others. Try different color arrangements. The possibilities are endless!
Try using rubber bands across the lip of the vase, making a grid pattern with 2-4 rubber bands. They will keep the flowers upright while you arrange and they won't slip.
Looks so cute! If you take clear tape you can tape across the opening in like a checkered pattern it helps to give your stems some support and the whole look more structure because everything isn't just flopping to one side.
My mom used to be a hobby florist and you reminded me that she used have like this dried floral wall hanging above the bathroom door with eucalyptus in kind of like wide V shape and dried flowers at the bottom the V with like lavender and calendula and roses and baby's breath :)
Consider the color tones and variations in the greens of the flowers too; using flowers that have dissimilar color buds but multiple tints and shades of the same color green will blend better visually than arrangements that do not. For me this arrangement is thrown by the cooler blue-green tones of the eucalyptus and the brighter yellow-green of the yellow weedy flowers, but the shape and variations of the flowers themselves are lovely and whimsical
As a young woman I think yourr amazing Im 65 yr old lady who used to do all the things you are doing Dont doubt yourself Your so talented Good luck in what you are doing best of luck sandraxx❤
Try taping a grid at the top of the vase using oasis tape. Going across the top leaving just enough on the sides to then tape down all the edges. It should get hidden by your greens but you can still see the stems in the vase :) Tree fern is also great for adding support to the flowers while keeping that whimsical look!
They use flower foam and chicken wire. That way they can sent them in something that will hold it. They cover the foam with marbles or pebbles or sand. And you don’t see the chicken wire. So you don’t see the steams or bottom of the stems because of that.
Just a tip for cutting the flowers try not to use scissors as it can crush the stems and make it hard for the flowers to drink the water. I recommend a straight edged knife or shears. Also the straws on the Gerbera daisies help keep them straight up cause they tend to flip over.
The flowers aren't the problem, the lengths of the stems are. Next time try cutting them different lengths like small flowers (wild flowers) can have taller stems and the bigger flowers can have smaller length of stems. I'm no expert but I think it'll work. Ofc try getting a lot of colours too! :)
For the love. It's been three weeks. She replied to people in TikTok comments. In summary: Her dad loves it and is hanging them up in his bar. He wants her to do something with his swizzle stick collection next. She only used selected matchbooks (& boxes) approved by her dad ahead of time. She used an acid-free glue that will dissolve with just a bit of ethanol on a q-tip (which won't harm the paper because of its quick evaporation) and glued them onto a linen -- not paper -- backing, to protect against the risk of pulling off any of the matchbook paper when they're removed from the display.
Ok your arrangement was very pretty, but in my opinion, it's got too many flowers. The pictures you had as inspiration are airy with lots of negative space, yours is dense. Keep trying you'll get it. I use branches and wild flowers that I forage lol. They last longer too.
No, we train for years to learn this craft. Thats why there is professional florist. Were living in the DIY era but that doesnt mean someone can literally dupe what florists do without experience.

Yeah and it allows you to get more space between the flowers (which you seem to like per your inspo pics).
Chicken wire!!!! Thx

Your arrangement looks fantastic!!!
My favorite combo is Dahlias, foxglove, fern, lilies, yarrow, dusty miller, and sunflower.

I think in a wide vase (not a narrow pitcher) it would have looked like your Pinterest examples. Flowers looked well selected.
I love her blouse.
Take a flower arranging course. The others look so much better because they’re made by florists.
It's pretty. 🫶
Cut them at different lengths. Also use a less wide vase opening and try making a grid on your vase top with strong thin tape

I love the natural look. It's perfect!
they are like you
wildly beautiful
keep it

Love your hair! ❤️🙌🏻
The “weedy” flower is matricaria, also known as chamomile ❤

It looks incredible ❤ you need to give yourself more credit. Extremely beautiful & impressive
If in LA, go to the floral shop at the South Bay Outreach Center... So many (inexpensive) stunning flowers
As a young woman I think yourr amazing Im 65 yr old lady who used to do all the things you are doing Dont doubt yourself Your so talented Good luck in what you are doing best of luck sandraxx❤
Very pretty, great job. Try library for inspiration b4 you buy the exotic stuff??
Try using chicken wire as a floral frog it makes they much more spread out and very beautiful and it’s a sustainable floral frog option as well😎
Georgeous ❤❤
Beautiful arrangement you did
Beautiful!
I love all your flower arrangements
Nothing looks cheap mam... everything is beautiful......🤗🌸🦋
Why is she so pretty?!

Ive seen her do that tape drid trick before in another video
Love it!!!

Well this arrangement looks absolutely gorgeous ❤
Looks great there is nothing like fresh flowers 🌸 good job
Having green foliage really makes them look better too.
Che belli i fiori sono sempre meravigliosi ❤💐🌹🌸🌷🌼💞
Floral wire and the foam blocks that hold water (can’t think of the name right now) will really help with arranging.
It’s BEAUTIFUL!!!
That is pretty, placing clear tape across the top of the vase in a criss cross can hold them up more, or use a clear glass vase frog.
Can we get a hair tutorial because you are stunning!!
So beautiful you did a great job!! I love them!!
💐💐💐💐💐
use tape to create a grid up top to hold flowers better
Easter daisy are the yellow "weedy" ones.

You did great! I've been meaning to take my flower arrangements more seriously and this had reinspired me.
It is cute, some
Blue would pop!

You should keep the stems longer on some for variety
I am not sure flexing petals adds all that much. Flowers in their natural state are so beautiful already.
The final result looked great. x
Girl, the mirror and the picture frames don’t get in the way of your counter space? That looks so impractical.
You can learn to do the hand twist posies and just longer and shorter
Very good job 👍
love it
Add purple next💜 😊
It's pretty 😍
WOW amazing 😍
Aussie flowers are good if you’re looking for some that are a bit more weird
🐸🐸🐸FLOWER FROGS ....Best kept SECRET...
This looks really nice but you're right that it does need a bluey purple.
No girrrll you nailed it😄❤️😝
That’s stunning😍😍😍
Okay but her shirt is adorable!!!!!
Where can I buy?!?
Do you have a Trader Joe’s nearby? We sell a lot of unique flowers. My favorites are one called Galactica and one called butterfly ranunculus
Gurl really like some Pinterest
You should cross hatch the top of your vase with clear tape to keep the flowers spread out
Girlie you just showed us the most pinterestie bouquet
Try floral tape or something else to hold your flowers where you put them!
Cool❤
Excellent
It’s so cutee!! Also you’re beautiful ❤️
I wanna know how your dad likes his matchbox gift?
Same

@@jacksyoutubechannel4045i thought it was a surprise?
I need that
Shirt
This is still stunning tho even if it’s not what you were going for
i think ditch the rose if you're going for a wild look because they look pristine
Can you make me a fishing Tacklebox and tackle bag with the mystery box and I live in Texas by the way it’s very cool here you look very nice❤❤❤
The “eucalyptus” is actually “Blue Gum” - two different types of trees. 🙂🇦🇺
It's Baby Blue Gum which it is a type of Eucalyptus tree. 😋 (From one Aussie to another)
😍😍😍
Beautiful!!!! ❤ ( random where did you get your glasses from?)
please no scissors! use a knife, put it foam against the still together carefully but pull towards you.

I’ve seen people do the scotch tape trick to hold up flowers
Are you a florist? Beautiful job?
i like babies breathe and hydrageas
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Just like that those Pinterest flower arrangements are now all jealous of that.
Trader Joe’s has the more interesting flowers that you might be looking for.
watch me adhd hyperfocus on yet another new hobby 😂
I have a glass pitcher AA my flower vase
Is there any way to make it last for more than a week? I mean they doe pretty quick which puts me off from buying them 😔
the gerbera only needs 3 cm of water otherwise it will fall
Why would you want a Pinterest arrangement?! You can't do your own? 😅 It's fabulous!
If you slice the stems rather than cut your flowers will last longer
💗
The reason your flowers never look like the ones on pintrist or w/e it’s called is because you need a black background in the photo
нет, она просто не понимает принципов составления композиции. флористика это искусство, этому нужно учиться.

@@Arginne anyone with basic knowledge of color schemes and art can replicate what someone does. The problem they have is the replication
Yall need to chill with the matchbox thing🙈 her dad likes it and he’s not mad calm down she didn’t ruin anything
