Nice bench. Simple and functional. the only thing I would do is put some polyurethane or oil on it to help protect it from weather.

WOW I love this. I need to make an outdoor workbench but being in the north of Scotland it’s damp, wet, windy, ice cold, snowy a lot of the time. Don’t know how it would hold up.
I might just have a go at building one anyway. If I can get some cheap or free wood I suppose it wouldn’t matter even if it only lasted me a couple years. If I put a tarp over it when not in use it will help protect against the harsh conditions here.
Thanks for the video man. Subscribing to your channel and gonna turn on notifications 🍻

I think if you were to cover it with a tarp it would last longer for sure. We had a lot of snow this winter and we just had a rainy spring here in Northern Idaho. Our weather sounds similar to Northern Scotland's. The workbench is still standing solid. I am going to have to flatten the top again as the wood is swelling in parts and it can be annoying when I work on certain projects.
I would say if you could get some free wood, then building yourself an outdoor work bench is a great idea. I use mine all the time.
Thanks for watching and I hope to put out more content that you're interested in.

Nice job, I plan to make something very similar for my outdoor workspace. How is it holding up after 2 years outside? Do you finish the working surface? Thanks
