I use Phoenixwan's 'Gamepad mode' where the turntable inputs(CW / CCW) are treated as two separeted gamepad buttons for most of games. And for PS2 IIDX, I had to use BE2PS converter to connect Phoenixwan to PS2.

That might be slightly better than this video's layout. But EZ2ON's 8K charts are only optimized for the keyboard's 4+4 layout. So I think that setting will give bad experience too.
