- Clair de Lune by Claude Debussy arranged for Piano and Orchestra.
World Premiere of this first ever piano and orchestra arrangement of the work, originally composed for solo piano. While the piano follows its original part, the orchestra adds somehow more emotional depth, dynamic contrasts and symphonic colors to the piece. Clair de Lune is the third and most famous movement of Suite bergamasque by Debussy and also one of the most beautiful piano pieces ever composed. I hope you will enjoy this new version.

It may be just me, but I've been listening to various orchestras doing this piece tonite and the smaller the group, the better it's heard...if that makes any since. Wonderfully executed and quite lovely!

Very tasteful arrangement. The orchestral accompaniment was not overpowering and just added to the wonderful atmosphere Debussy set in this masterpiece. I am learning it at the moment and this was very inspiring!

You should listen to more piano concertos, try listening to rachmaninoff piano concerto no2!
@@iamhorny4542 I've never heard No. 2, but I just came home a few hours ago, from experiencing Rachmanioff Piano Concert no. 3. Conducted by Vasily Petrenko and played by pianist Kirill Gerstein. It was absolutely beautiful.
Having Shostakovich's Symphony No. 6 following it, didn't feel right though. I know they changed the program due to a late covid-related cancellation, but all the emotion that Petrenko and Gerstein build up with Rachmanioff's piano concert no. 3, was swept away. For me, the piano concert could've stood alone, and it would still have been worth paying the full ticket price.
TL;DR I can recommend Rachmanioff's piano concert no. 3.

Chopin my absolute favorite composer. I never thought any classical pianist was better than Arthur Rubinstein when it came to Chopin's works. You dear young man are in a league with Rubinstein. I am scratching my head' I don't know which Chopin you have been listening to but I have been listening to Debussy Claire de Lune one of my favourite pieces and one I'm 'taking with me'. Why do we need to know you like Chopin many do but I don't see the relevance Georgii Cherkin played a beautiful piece of music BEAUTIFULLY.

How did you become such a exquisite pianist, I know you probably read compliments but my god. Where would I start? And I want to compose too. My musical technicality and understanding is quite limited. I am in love with classics. But piano has some type of emotional touch no other instrument can express. I'm 17 by the way. I want to learn and practice 14 hours a day. So yea. Thanks and I am peeping the fresh haircuts

Georgii Cherkin. You are doing a huge and great contribution to the Music with your versions for orchestra. However, in my opinion you NEED some Sound Engineer in order to improve the quality of your recordings and edit them.

Пожалуйста, исполняйте произведения в оригинале, без этой оркестровой отсебятины. Вы же замечательный музыкант, зачем портить авторский замысел? Хайп - это пустота, мыльный пузырь, он ничего не стоит по сравнению с настоящим искусством. Оркестр здесь звучит пошловато, банально и неуместно.
Georgii, that was great! So airy, easy and transparent. As if the lofty music consists not of notes, but of the quiet light of a night star.
This is just beautiful. I was expecting the original piano piece to be revised, but I love that you all stuck to the original and used the rest of the orchestra to ENHANCE and lift up the emotions of the piano. I enjoy this more than the solo piano. Amazing!

I think your arrangement for orchestra brings an enchantment all of its own: a superb blend of instrumental mastery.
