The fact that the 03 turtles are getting the newer models designed after that show means a lot to me. That’s the turtles era that introduced me into TMNT along with the 07 cgi film. I’ve said this before but if neca goes to the 03 and cgi 07 turtles those figures I would be crazy for and make a purchase on em.
I hope someday we'll get the 2003 turtles in the NECA line. I know the 87 cartoon is the definitive version for some fans and it is for me too, but the second cartoon needs more love. I always give that cartoon credit for bringing tmnt back on TV after they went dark following the Next Mutation show. Their return led to the last two cartoons as well so we should put some respect on the 2003 show.
Y'know... I LOVE the 87 show, and the figures are great! But... who's got the time to hunt for them or the big bucks to shell out for every single 2-pack they keep pumping out? Lol I would love to see NECA do something similar for the 2003 show in its same style and design, but I think as far as buying a lineup of that show in figure form I'd probably stop after the Turtles, Splinter, Shredder, April, Casey, Foot Soldiers, Baxter, and Hun. Everything else would pretty much be just a cash grab at that point. At least, to me it would.
I believe the skins in the Shredders Revenge video game are based off previous designs of the turtles. This would be a great aspect for different TMNT generations.
@Mr.Tangle-Strikes-Again and yet tmnt 2 also sucked because it deviates from the mirage source material as a quick cash grab like the ghostbusters 2 film that came out the same year as tmnt 1990 trying to be more like the silly cartoon
those mini figs have been released soooo many times, just w/ new packaging every few years. I actually got rid of my 2 different packaged sets about a year ago
Heyo, I'm from Argentina and i haven't heard from those minu figures you talk about on this video but I'll definitely check it out if I'm able to get those 👀, huge fan of the Turtles here ❤️. We even had some of the Archie TMNT adventures comics translated to Spanish back in that day, i even learned how to read when i was a kid with those. I still have them 😄
Wow these mini's with an 87 Playmates Turtle and a 2003 sidefigure is really odd, and they actually look kinda bootleggy. Especially 'cause of the paintjobs.
The turtles 3 movie figures? All the past movie figures have had comic con exclusive 4 packs and they ALWAYS get released in stores later just be patient they'll probably be in two packs

Now that I'm seeing more attention surrounding it again makes me very happy. I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that this is the 20th anniversary of the series? I'm glad the full collection of all the seasons recently was released too.

As much as the 87 show defined my childhood, I feel like I enjoy the 2003 show more these days.

I hated part 3 as a kid. I walked out of the film as soon as they came out dancing 🕺🏻

Walmart will get 2 packs of the samurai turtles in the following year. It just might not have the alternate heads with them.
