▸ Who is The Incredible Hulk: The Hulk is a superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Following his accidental exposure to gamma rays while saving the life of Rick Jones during the detonation of an experimental bomb, Bruce Banner is physically transformed into The Incredible Hulk when subjected to emotional stress, at or against his will. This transformation often leads to destructive rampages and to conflicts that complicate Banner's civilian life. The Hulk's level of strength is normally conveyed as proportionate to his level of anger. Commonly portrayed as a raging savage, the Hulk has been represented with other alter egos, from a mindless, destructive force (War Hulk), to a brilliant warrior (Worldbreaker Hulk), a self-hating protector (the Devil/Immortal), a genius scientist in his own right (Doc Green), and a gangster (Joe Fixit).
Despite both Hulk and Banner's desire for solitude, the character has a large supporting cast. This includes Banner's ex-wife Betty Ross, his best friend Rick Jones, his cousin She-Hulk, and therapist and ally Doc Samson. In addition, the Hulk alter ego has many key supporting characters, like his co-founders of the superhero team the Avengers, his queen Caiera, fellow warriors Korg and Miek, and sons Skaar and Hiro-Kala. However, his uncontrollable power has brought him into conflict with his fellow heroes and others. Despite this, he tries his best to do what's right while battling villains such as the Leader, the Abomination, the Absorbing Man and more.

The title was originally going to be: Hulk kills the superheroes, surveys his destruction with pride and rides off into the sunset as Galactus' New Herald. It was too long of a title though.

Tristan, This would be a tremendous movie. I've always wanted to see a rampaging Planet Hulk or WorldBreaker Hulk go crazy against every other Marvel character in all the movies. I’d definitely take some interest in a story revolving around Herald Hulk. I’m more curious on how the power cosmic would affect Hulk and his abilities? I know Galactus has had several Heralds, and the power cosmic never really effected them like... a power boost to something they had, more like giving something new. Or am I wrong? Let me know if I am
thanos vol. 2 frank castle dies goes to hell and mephisto resurrects him as ghost rider, thanos killed the whole planet by the time he got back & a injured galactus showed up to the dead planet to help in the fight against thanos so frank said galactus can eat the dead planet if he can get revenge on thanos as his herald and galactus agreed. ontop of all of ghost riders abilities that he possesses the power cosmic gave him interstellar travel, energy projection, a cosmic penance stare where he can literally incinerate any sinner regardless if they feel remorse, telekinesis, and probably way more stuff too.
@@lazlo4809 Well, the penance stare still didnt work on Thanos. CGR got obliterated pretty easily by The Worthy Surfer, so he was a powerhouse. Just not to that scale, and that kinda gives me a basis? Just on the one herald. Which, granted, gave him a boost on his power set. There are others though, what did the silver surfer get? I don’t think he was catching waves on his home planet, where’d that come from? In the What if? Storyline with the Universe Breaker Hulk, he had a double edged blade. Having never shown use for one before, I mean… besides Hulk being a gladiator on Sakaar. Its just never really been a staple mark of him or how his powers are used majority of the time

And even after all this, people still say Doomsday is more powerful than Hulk. LOL.
Doomsday is pretty much immortal now. So ultimately unless Doomsday can be sealed away like the Wolverine was, he would eventually kill the Hulk. I'm a HUGE Hulk fan and I hate Doomsday, but I still give it to him. Doomsday can take full blown punches from Superman, even at God power. Doomsday can't be beat.
Doomsday has never tanked even close to the amount of damage Hulk has tanked. He has never even faced power like anything Hulk has fought.
Hulk fought Sentry, Silver Surfer, The Beyonder, and many more. Hulk tanked one million supernovas exploding on top of his face. He held open a black hole. He held Beyonder down with one hand, by his face.
Sentry and Beyonder have both destroyed universes casually before.

@@ray29ish That was only after GMOs were designed to attack mutant DNA. Even then Wolverine's healer factor kept him stable long after others had perished.
Quick note, the shuttle exploding wasn't an accident. It was sabotaged by one of the Warbound.
kinda crazy how they decided to kill everyone before hulk killed everyone lol. But anyhow, everyone seemed to forget that if they didn't try to kill Hulk In The first place none of this would've happened. Still a cool story! if there were to be a follow up, i stood imagine wolverine would be part of this since he is still alive in the universe somewhere!

I feel like post world war hulk, now herald of galactus hulk, world have to enter the D.C. Universe to find characters strong enough for any conflict to be exciting. Like... he's at this point doomsday squared. I'd say send him to Asgard but that's already done, and thus.. what's left but Olympus? And perhaps the realm of black Adam's deities.

A) Uses the unconventional tactic of having a squirrel-mob at her command... nobody sees that coming (which, presumably means that if she's not on Earth, her greatest weapon is eliminated.)
B) She's a quirky, under-powered fan-favorite; so, the underdog rule applies.
C) Writers like to f**k with us.

Hey Rob love your stuff! I know you're busy with moving and everything but I think you should do a one shot on Incredible Hulk 300 where he battles everyone. Even a bad ass fight with Thor. I think this was an inspiration to World War Hulk. It was the second comic I had ever bought and it hooked me. I read it so much I wore it out.

Banner becoming Hulk is a mental thing (anger) Since Xavier is the most powerful telepath, why couldnt charles, joined with other telepaths (cuckoo sisters, emma frost, etc) just lobotomized the hulk out of banner's mind?

They cannot just lobotomized. They can, at best, split them. And if you do that you get a "Bannerless" Hulk, which is FAR worse.

Wait, I'm a little confused, I get how the big heros died like tony stark or captain america, i guess from the nuclear explosion or from hulk himself. But where are the powerhouses at??? Like Dr. Strange, Thor, especially silver surfer, and even deadpool. Where the hell was silver surfer when earth was getting ravaged, doesn't he protect earth or something like that. Dr.Strange has the power to end the whole universe, Thor is a God, and theres many other heros that could have ended all the conflict. So... what happened?
Thor was dealing with ragnorak, dr strange was weakened due to retcons and most likely killed by the hulk for being a member of the illuminati, sentinel is a weak schizophrenic human in his normal form and is usually kept in it to keep him from killing the universe which most likely lead to his death by either hulk or the skrulls and deadpool couldn't stand a chance against world breaker hulk, even with such an advanced healing factor or he would have just jumped ship to some other planet because he's deadpool not Captain America.
Also Silver Surfer return to his role as the herald of galactis during this time.
MrRazor I don't think Thor can defeat WBH, if I remember correctly he even mentioned he'd lose to hulk in a fight or something along those lines.

Thor fought WWH in a what if. Neither got an upper hand, because they realized that the were causing to much damage.
