How is Earth still intact with all these planet destroying Titans in the Monsterverse is still baffling me.
I mean to be fair, the Titans of the Monsterverse are actually rather beneficial to the earth, as the radiation they emit can actually have positive effects on the environment compared to man-made nuclear energy. Not to mention, Godzilla & Kong are basically the earth’s primary line of defense against world-ending threats. I mean if another being similar to Ghidorah or Shimo were to arrive in earth, without Godzilla or Kong to help fend them off, humanity would basically be screwed lol
TLDR: The Titans are kinda just smth that humanity has to tolerate in the Monsterverse, because they actually do a lot more good than one might think

Godzilla is actually really intelligent, but think he was so blinded by rage for being chained up he just attacked Superman when he saw him especially because he already attack Superman before this.
Beast Boy is one of the most undermined characters in all of DC. He’s always thrown to the side for just being a member of the Teen Titans and overlooked extremely often, when in reality he’s a very powerful and adaptable hero.

Ngl seeing Superman being the bigger person he didn’t want to have a ego and just straight up rematch Godzilla 1v1. He knew there was bigger things that needed attention and he needed godzillas help. But I wish we got a full rematch considering Superman is fully powered up and knows what he is dealing with he probably win the rematch but I love both characters and loved how they both teamed up. Godzilla and Superman teaming up is literally insane they just solo mostly everything in there path.

If anybody has read the Godzilla comics or watch the classic Japanese movies They would know Godzilla has fought Gods, demons from hell and other beings more powerful than him. Godzilla has survived death multiple times. Not to say Godzilla is more powerful than Superman because Superman can lift up an entire planet. But Godzilla does have the potential to defeat the man of steel.

As a long time Godzilla/ King Kong fan I think Rob did an excellent job throughout this entire series. His hilarious names frosted that cake. Everyone going nuts about how Superman got his ass kicked. Needs to realize that Superman wasn't trying to kill Godzilla. But Godzilla will kill you for even looking at him wrong period and also as a ancient force of nature. He's not exactly a pushover so that mindset really altered the battle. King Kong as a lantern would have been awesome! Even though he's not the most imaginative creature. I think it would have sensed the good in him as a planetary Defender and stayed with him. Also extra props because Batman was able to snake Lex Luthor in basically a Pacific Rim Jaeger. When Godzilla Titan class would make them look tiny. Thank you Rob for bringing us this series!
I disagree. Rob was painting Kong and Godzilla as unintelligent Beasts while any fan of Godzilla and Kong would know they are both very intelligent. Kong has been shown to created and use weapons out of random stuff he finds that he may not have even seen before. Like the time he made the chain blade arm weapon with the boat's motor in KSI. Sure he may not be able to produce the same things as a human would but that's more to the fact Kong has never seen said things before and thus would not know what they are and can't make them. However he sure as hell can make primitive tools that he has seen and use them very effectively. In the latest GvK we were shown that Kong was making and using traps to hunt and ambush creatures as well.
As for Godzilla he's highly intelligent and knows enough to deem what Titans are harmful or beneficial to the planets. He's shown that he can adapt to fighting as well like the time when Godzilla realized he couldn't really reach the flying Male Muto and baiting it into attacking him thinking he was safe from Godzilla's reach, only to get swiped by his tail and instantly die from it. Godzilla just has a flaw of getting pissy about one thing and doing everything and anything in his power to chase down that thing relentlessly until it is gone or is no longer a threat.
Something as majorly canonical as Superman proposing to Lois and it happens during a Godzilla/Kong crossover? No way in hell that this is official canon.

In the end there was no rematch. Superman who can bench press the Earth and hold a black hole decided that keeping the world safe and secure was more important than getting even with Godzilla. This guy's morals are such at a high standard that getting Godzilla home was more of a top priority. Who knows if we'll get a part 2 of this series. Maybe in the future Godzilla and Superman will cross over again and perhaps a rematch will take place.
I call it lazy writers playing favorites. There was _plenty_ for Superman to do in this and he spends most of the series on the bench. What a waste.
I mean to be fair if this was a accurate Godzilla vs Superman fight it would be over in one page 💀. But Godzilla would never be allowed to lose because of his contract that he has.

It was so nice to see my 2 favorite characters, *Godzilla* and *Superman,* team up during the finale and both use their powers at the same time against that massive *Skull Crawler.* Life is beautiful. Definitely getting this as a trade paperback.
The great things about this comic are Clark being rejuvenated and Lois saying yes to his proposal; the JLA and others using the Bat-Mech, Beast Boy as King Kong, and a construct giant mech to defeat the Legion of Doom; Clark freeing Billy Batson from the Legion of Doom and convincing Godzilla to join him in battle; King Kong becoming a Green Lantern (or a King Lantern), which is ridiculously cool because King Kong got something on him; and this issue (and this entire series) ending with the JLA, King Kong, and Godzilla saving the day and Clark and Lois having a picnic together. Overall, this comic is great!

@@Thunder_Editz786 There actually is a good reason. Superman holds back, A LOT, all the time. So much so that he has to consciously focus to, well, not hold back. Even when facing a major threat, he holds back. This often leads to him getting his @$$ handed to him. Superman doesn't really have a good, what you would call, battle sense.
Every once in a while it's great to have a fun story. And this one delivers.

1:25 the second day took Superman and tried to explain his power of scientifically is the absolute second that any Harold of Galactus, including Terrax, Nova, Airwalker, Firelord and the Silver Surfer could take out Superman without a thought.
Remember that all those characters with their aspect of the power cosmic could easily drain radiation out of characters like Superman .
This is the problem of trying to retcon a golden age character, so he can become “relatable” and have “weaknesses” that make it realistic that they lose.

Superman losing to the the atomic breath of Godzilla makes sense in my head canon because in th TDKR he almost died to a nuke so I think the atomic breath would do the same

As someone who is sick and tired of hearing Superman fans speak about how invincible and important he is, i will forever remember this chapter in comic history, where he got his ass handed to him by another fiction icon just as absurd and way less condescending.
It isn't about powerscaling and i think him losing serves as evidence of something that should be obvious: this is fiction, and a pretty inconsistent example at that; anything can happen.

According to Google: "Godzilla can die, but Toho, the company that has the final say on Godzilla's character, has not allowed him to die. However, Godzilla has died in four movies, and he has been killed in manga adaptations. For example, in Godzilla vs. Destoroyah, Mechagodzilla beheads Godzilla, but Fire Rodan revives him." Daxamites are NOT Kryptonians, they’re an offshoot (Like Romulans are an offshoot of Vulcans), which are immune to Kryptonite but vulnerable to lead. Lead is an inert, albeit highly toxic heavy metal that Daxamites have a massive anaphylactic reaction to.
Like Kryptonians, Daxamites generate a subtle electromagnetic field through the metabolization of certain wavelengths of solar radiation. That field makes them virtually invulnerable, allows them to fly and greatly amplifies their natural strength. The field doesn’t shield a Daxamite from lead; however, so the Green Lantern ring shields him from that weakness. It also empowers his cells, allowing him to retain his powers without the need for a yellow sun.
Kryptonians and Daxamites evolved on a planet with a much thinner atmosphere and far heavier gravity than Earth. During the Golden Age of comics, Krypton’s gravity was 1000x heavier than Earth’s, but the post-crisis continuity establishes it as 10x. This gives non-anomalous Kryptonians far greater Strength, Speed, Agility and Endurance than any Human.
While they’re vulnerable to small arms and bladed weapons, Kryptonians aren’t “powerless” without sunlight. When he lost his powers during the Hard Truth story arc, Superman was still shown capable of lifting somewhere between 2 to 5 tons. With his extensive martial arts training, he’s still a significant threat as a street-level vigilante.

Honestly we definitely needed more titans from the monsterverse in this and this should’ve been longer and the ending could’ve been better but that’s just my opinion.
