That looks like a decent little pump, the fact it shuts off at a set value is nice too :-D My frend bought a pump and it took a lifetime, after taking it to bits i saw a diddy little cylinder the size of a thimble, no wonder it was crap lol.
Great video, thank you! Question - see the small back rubber circle by the hose? My Audew wasn’t working, so I watched your video, and my own black rubber circle appears to have partially melted. What function does it serve, and is there a way to fix that?
I keep this one in my wife's Ford Escape. She needed to use it to inflate a tire that went flat while she was out. It did exactly what it was supposed to do, inflated the tire and allowed her to get to a tire shop to have the tire repaired (had a screw stuck in it). It was a back tire. I guess it depends on where your lighter socket is but she had no issues reaching the tire. Paid for itself the first time it was used.
I want to same product and it’s worked great for me the only thing that I’ve had a problem was the hose that split so I’m looking for a replacement for that hose can you help me
Wait! new cars don't cam with spare tires anymore. Instead they give you this type of almost useless pumps. That is probably the dumbest decision the car manufacturers have ever made. BTW great video.
Yup many new cars do not come with a spare tire. The reason? Weight. Car makers are striving for the best fuel economy, so they drop the spare tire to save weight, and thus improve the fuel economy.
Well Einstein, I show the freaking wheel. Does that look like pot metal to you? No, it is a solid aluminum wheel, but guess what? They corrode, and are quite easily damaged by tire shops mounting the new tire. So if the wheel gets damaged, well then you get a slow leak, and the only solution is a new wheel. That's good for about 400.00
@@12voltvids As someone who worked at a tire shop for several years, wire wheeling the bead (with customer's permission) to get it to seat well is not an all to uncommon practice. Thanks for the video review, btw. I know I'm 2 years late, but it's great to see it apart while I wait for mine to get delivered. We'll see if the design is any different two years on when I pull mine apart, but I doubt it.
Hello Mr. My audew doesn't inflate any more, it just deflates the tyre.. Can you help me please with this matter. How can i contact you? Any social media? Thank you in advance!
Hey, this gadged couldn't be state of the art, not for the care of your wife. Not without a Bluetooth Interface for here SmartPhone. I believe, you should include them ;-)

These rims now days on the modernized version, are they made out of Pot Metal?

I got one. Works great until the fuse blew. Now it blows the car fuse for the car port.
Sounds like something shorted out.
