I know this video is a bit different than normal, but I wanted to give you guys a true representation of all the hands you’re dealt at a poker table (especially for those who don’t have much poker experience) Best of luck at the tables everyone!
Really liked the video. In the AQ hand. Because you're sizing will be larger, four or even five x. Your range is very narrow, AA/6 7 suited. Hands like AQ off suit might not play well since they fold hands they have equity against and get called or raised by both better and bluffs. Nice session, well played. Entertaining and great commentary on your decisions.
@@eshootziscrs2868 hm I still think AQ is a pretty standard 3b from SB vs BTN, and I try to keep my sizings consistent no matter what hand I’m raising with. But of course these are just my own opinions and I don’t think there’s only one right way of playing poker
Loved the every hand format and would like to see it appear again sometime in the future. Also am keen to see the big hands post as well if you'd knock that into a video.
@@KIP_NZ thanks for the feedback! I’ll definitely keep that in mind As far as the rest of the hands, I don’t want to fall behind on videos so I probably won’t be able to show them, but thanks for letting me know!
im defenitly interested in the second part of the night, sounds epic! i thought it was quite informative and fun to see all the hands, even if it’s just “fold fold fold fold dbbp fokd fold and here’s a banger”! thanks for putting in the time to make and edit this one!! ❤
Loved the experiment and seeing all the hands in an hour . Helps me think through some more subtle spots, not just huge pot situations. Keep it up, I think this is missing in the RUclipsr market. Subscribed!
I can appreciate these types of videos just as much as a video of highlight hands. Primarily because they show casual poker fans what a session really is like. Where we fold maybe up to 70% of hands in a given hour. The game can truly be a grind at times.
Thanks - yeah I think it’s important to show how necessary and important it is to stay disciplined and only play a select range of hands from each position
Definitely harder for you and I wouldn't want a steady diet of it, but you (as always) made it entertaining. It also felt more like real poker so I appreciate you doing this.
I liked the format. One request, show what you can of the end of the hands? I mean for hands you do not play, show what you had and how the table ran out. I would guess that a log of hands did not go very far, but ... It would add to the experience. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the suggestion: I would do that, but both the note taking and the editing for all that would be a pretty hefty load to take on. As is I feel bad I don’t have time to put out more content, so unfortunately I don’t think I’ll be able to do that
Really enjoyed the different perspective. It gives a very realistic view of play. Obviously only the highlight hands and being up 3k after a 12 minute video is probably better for views, but I enjoyed this very much too. If you put together the rest of the hands I'd watch it. I watch everything you put out...except beach dancing 😮
ha ha. that is real poker despite not being as exciting. i was at the gardens tuesday, fun times, big rake though sad😢. what online poker do you play btw? i have been dabbling in that a bit. anyways, great content, love that you are a local repping here. hope you are out of that downswing you were in last video
Yeah! Things are going well (real time) and was able to fully recover from the downswing plus some Online I play on ClubGG and I’m about to start playing/streaming on global poker, so if you want any info on either of those things you can msg me California across the board has pretty high rake, which is tough to beat. It’s tough beating the rake in anything less than 5/5. As you move up in stakes it gets more beatable but still expensive
I really liked seeing this style of vlog where you show every hand, it's a lot easier for me to understand how to bet every type of hand. Do you know of any other vloggers that do vlogs of this style?
Thanks - My friend Corey Eyring had one vlog where he did this, but I’m not sure I’ve seen anyone else come out with videos like this. I believe the video Corey did like this was titled ‘poker vloggers are lying to you’ or something like that
My last session was normal till I got pocket aces 3 times in 45 minutes and 2 in 3 hands. And my last pocket aces was against another pocket aces and we chuckled a bit.
Yeah in this game type, Bomb pots are played every new player, new dealer, and new setup. And because people kept coming and going there were quite a bit
4:20 if you search the tube for Aces Cracked they are a repeated theme. They do give a false sense of security for amateurs, it's when you watch the pros that you see them getting folded. So I've got a question for you about this hand Bratz. If you slow played this hand would you have folded it or jammed the river? And do you ever slow play the bullets for variance?
For me - I 3bet quite aggressively as is, so it wouldn’t make sense to slow play my big hands preflop. So I don’t slow play preflop in general. If this pot were a single raised pot, especially if it were multi-way, I wouldn’t be looking to balloon the pot to try to get stacks in on this board. I’ve often found folds with aces, especially facing aggression in multi-way pots
@@BrantzenPoker to be fair he wasn't holding much and jammed trying to get you off a pair. But you didn't leave yourself an escape route when the board went wet. Dnegs plays the small connectors because when they hit they trap.
Oh haha my bad for misunderstanding - unfortunately I probably won’t get to it cuz I don’t want to fall too far behind, but I do have some really fun and interesting sessions coming up!
Why would you raise 10 9 off suite pre flop in the worst position possible (small blind) into multiple opponents? Fix those lil mistakes that'll be a start to a winning formula
@@BrantzenPoker word man I'm just used to mucking those pre in that position/configuration! I play here in so-Cal the rake is insane if I'm playing in a soft line up at Auga $2-$5 or Lake Elsinore $2-$5 I'll mix 9-10 off but in the $5-$5 and $5-$10 games at commerce(Normal game I play in) Ill get 3 bet relentlessly lol

My favourite hand is the jam jars, especially if you flop a pair of jam jars and the opponent goes all in 😆 🤣
