    You can have all of the money in the world and no talent and make it in NASCAR but if you have all of the talent in the world and no money you won't make it in NASCAR.

      ​@@bradsanders407maybe not no talent but very litte yes.theres short tracks all across the u.s with guys that got the talent to make it in Nascar but they don't know the right people or maybe there like me and won't kiss ass and believe driving ability and the determination to win should be top priority. I assure in Nascar it's who's got money or who's marketable

    I came across Mr.Delma back in the day, running at Oglethorpe Speedway in Pooler Georgia right outside Savannah. He was always a good dude good ol fella enjoy the time around him. Old Dalma would race with a shopping cart if you wanted.

    Rest in peace, Delma Cowart. He always tried his hardest and gave it his all in a sport he truly loved. Long live the Master's Inn Ford and the man that drove it. The man loved to race and he liked to party too. God speed.

    I remember when he made the field for the 1992 Daytona 500. He told a reporter that if they can make a woman into a man, then anything is possible.

    I didn’t start watching NASCAR until til 1993. I pulled for Delma to qualify for a cup race every time he attempted! Unfortunately, I only got to see him run a few ARCA races

    This is back when NASCAR was true WINSTON CUP racing. Delma made me proud to be from Georgia. This crap they have today is a JOKE. Most of the drivers are a joke. It’s why I quit watching over 20 years ago. RIP NASCAR WINSTON CUP.
